I think some part of me has always wanted to be a performer.
I started in the subway because I didn't want to do the nine to five anymore.
I wanted somehow to make my living as a performer.
It's exciting and it's scary because nobody's asking you to be there.
In a way, you're sort of imposing yourself on people.
Quite often, before I go out, I have this whole debate with myself,
should I be doing this? Does anybody want me there? Is it any good?
And then most times I do it anyway.
It's a way to stay active. I don't really go to the gym.
I don't go to the gym actually. I don't lift weights or anything.
I just skate.
I've been doing music most of my life.
I started out playing guitar. I play piano, I play drums.
You know, I'm an entertainer. I'm a performer, songwriter, singer.
I got into music production and I love to share my music with the world and people.
Everyone who skates boards usually has that sort of attitude.
They like a lot of broad variety of things.
Even if it's really weird or extreme, I just feel like it just ties into the culture.
I know when I am on the receiving end, when I'm the person just passing by
and I see something that's amazing to me, it changes my day a little bit.
If it's been a bad day, it makes it go a little better.
If it's been a good day, it just enhances that whole feeling.
It's just the freedom that you feel, the excitement.
There's that child-like wonder. You just feel like a kid.
It's that unexpected gem that you come across sometimes that just makes you feel better.
It's an individual thing that you can do and you can express yourself.
It doesn't really matter how good you are as long as you're actually enjoying what you're doing.
Have you ever been out to Mandolin Brothers in Staten Island?
No, I can't say no.
If you Google that, Daniel Edwards, his name is Stanley.
Yeah?
I've been playing since I'm eight. When I was 27, I heard an article.
Eric Klaver is his favorite guitar score.
Sorry, I don't have to take this. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
You know any rhythm by Nirvana?
You do?
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
