Riding is harmony between man, machine and the road.
You become one with the machine, it picks you up at certain times, you pick the machine
up, it frees your soul and it's beyond describing it, you've got to do it.
It's absolute freedom.
You, the machine, the road and all the elements and you are embedded right between the elements.
The smells are intense, the wind is intense, the sights are intense, it's such a pure experience,
pure and raw.
Do what you love and work with your hands.
It's the most gratifying process ever to actually create something with your own hands.
This place to me is a playground, this place is a zen where I would let go all of my worries,
all of my troubles and I'm focusing on creating.
Creating is the most beautiful process ever.
On the other hand, I always envy people who are doing the most thing they like doing.
I work in oil and gas, it's a nine to five job where I wear a suit and it's a desk job.
It's not my passion.
2015 for me was more or less a year of big changes, making big decisions.
As part of this big change, I decided to give it a try and see if pushing this passion forward
would be the right thing to do.
Here we have to make do with what we have, so we have to be absolutely resourceful.
We picked up welding, we picked up a lathe, we picked up a drill press and we tried to
fabricate everything in-house because it's absolutely challenging to find parts and to
find raw material.
I like to work alone, I like to do my thing alone and then kind of release it, but when
you're working with somebody, your dynamics change.
I found the only partner to do this work and I'm not used to that by the way, this is the
first time I get so close to someone, like I've never had a bank account with anyone.
That's my first time I have a shared account with them, that's for example.
You have seen the chemistry Ali and I have, we're two individual persons, each has their
own thing happening and yet when we're here, we kind of come together and we compliment
each other.
We spend time now more than he sees his family or her girlfriend, so I think yeah, without
trying, I'm sure, nothing, I'm sure that without trying, I can do that.
I mean, I'm a nomad, I don't have a home.
I came here at the age where I can adopt a city and I adopted this city, never felt
that I'm an outsider here.
It doesn't matter what you do, where you come from, how old are you, all of this is irrelevant
when you ride, you're a rider.
This country has been in war for the past like 25, 30 years at least, that's the war
we know and God knows how many wars before that.
Society is really fractured in our country, having this cafe racer culture or building
it up here is taking down many fractures between people like, you see people from different
areas in our shop, not talking about anything but bikes.
Cafe racers are so relative to the rider, the person who has it, people put their souls
in it and their own character in each bike, so that's what makes it really special.
What makes cafe racers special, taking out all the excess and leaving only the necessary
elements for this experience, you don't have a windscreen, you don't have bags, you don't
have heated grips, you just have the most simple machine to do the job what it should
do.
That's what makes cafe racers special, taking out all the excess and leaving only the necessary
elements for this experience.
That's what makes cafe racers special, taking out all the excess and leaving only the necessary
elements for this experience, you don't have a windscreen, you don't have a windscreen,
you don't have a windscreen, you don't have a windscreen, you don't have a windscreen,
And you're gonna die, and I hope that you feel the same
I am, as we move away
Dress and dress and keep her by your wing
