The fifth happiest city.
Best place on earth.
Welcome to my home.
Hey.
You can't take a picture of me.
I need permission for that.
I wasn't taking a picture of you.
Yeah.
Look, you know, I'm the Shazam.
In the streets.
As you can obviously see.
And, uh, lady.
That picture's gonna cost you.
I wasn't taking a picture of you.
A dollar for two?
Two for ten.
I'll throw any autographs in the front.
Okay, one, I wasn't taking a picture of you.
And two, I'm not gonna give you any money.
I need your orders.
And that ain't good.
Ask your doctor.
I can't.
Okay, I said no.
Why don't you get a job?
Yeah, Beth, could you get me Bob Cole on the line please?
Yeah, he's with Nordus.
Hey, George.
Tomorrow morning.
I am definitely gonna be late tonight.
Okay, well, uh, what time are you gonna be back by?
Not before three.
I'll cook you dinner this week.
Thanks, tonight.
I did have a job.
I had a job.
I said I had a fucking job.
Sorry, I didn't mean to do this to you.
No.
You assumed sweetheart.
I had.
Sweet for you.
What happened?
Oh.
It's a little V6, 204 horsepower.
Oh, how's Judy?
Don't forget to bring your pills.
I'm sorry.
Thank you, ma'am.
You'll never be the man your mother was.
Scientists were saying that gravity in recent months is getting heavier.
I bet it is.
Oh, that's my favorite game.
Never lose. Watch me.
I win.
Oh, tell him what his prize is.
Well, it's a great big blue ball shit.
Called Earth.
Well, if that's what you believe, that's what you'll get.
Huh?
Bushes.
It's lying to you.
It's under that bush that's green grass.
But an inch under that black dirt hot tar bush.
Well, if you think shit, you'll get shit.
Whatever's going on in your head will become your reality.
You want to know what's in my head?
Yeah.
See that? That's real.
It's my fucking reality.
You are this small.
What do you know about all this, huh?
I know that you made that happen.
You spit on the earth and it'll spit right back at you.
You are responsible for everything that has happened to you in your life.
Oh, I wanted this.
I want all this?
I fucking love it, right?
I made this happen, huh?
Yeah.
There's a saying, watch your thoughts because they will become your reality.
Oh, I feel.
Yeah, and that's exactly what's going on here.
You're drowning in your own negativity and of course your life is going to be shit.
Then you're going to play in the world which is fucking on.
Fucking listen to me.
You can change this,
but you have to believe that you can't.
See this bracelet?
It's protected me in ways I can't even explain and it's brought me a lot of luck.
It's pretty.
I want you to have it.
Go on.
What's your name?
George.
It's nice to meet you, George.
I'm Ariana.
Luck's already looking for you.
You do?
Luck, huh?
This bus is taking forever.
Yeah, sorry.
But can you come pick me up?
Yeah, I'll meet you halfway up on that parking lot.
Yeah, that one.
Okay, thank you. I love you.
I love you.
What do you want?
I want it back. All of it!
Don't touch me right now!
Are you listening now?
100 pieces of luck coming my way.
Siri!
Sammy, open up!
Oh, shit, they're not closed!
Shit!
Oh, my God.
Oh.
Hey, you.
How much?
You can't do this!
And expect nobody to touch you!
Shut up!
Stop lying to me.
Mr. Teddy.
What the fuck?
Huh? Oh, sorry.
Buddy, come on.
Hey.
Oh, my God.
Siri!
I wasn't ready.
I wasn't ready for that one.
Remember?
Keep the hands up.
That's it.
Keep the hands up.
Get off!
Keep the feet shoulder-width apart.
Rita.
Come on.
Stay stationary. You gotta move.
Now, you gotta duck.
Oh, put that hand up. That's it.
You gotta move.
It's like a dance.
You gotta be a champ.
You're protected all the time.
But every once in a while, you gotta use your hand.
That's my dad.
Come on. It's all over.
It's all over.
Dad! No!
Hey, Dad.
Rita, how was your day?
Were people nice to you at school?
I missed you.
I missed you all the time.
The book that you picked up at the library, could you read that to me?
It's been two days since the shooting of a local homeless man here in Vancouver.
Spencer Izello was arrested in possession of an unregistered firearm used in the shooting of a homeless man he thought was attacking his daughter.
The violent crime may not be the only cause for charges against Izello.
An investigation into Izello's assets has led to evidence of a mass fraud within Izello's local financing firm,
where unsuspecting families were scammed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
It is unclear how much money has been taken, and from how many.
The trial began from an accepted proposal from the Poverty Reduction Coalition.
Starting next month, the province will begin funding programs and strategies aimed at ridding Vancouver of its reputation
of having the worst child poverty rate in the country.
Here is Paul Taylor, an advocate of the coalition.
I think it took a long time for people to get angry.
The police were seeing if there were any side-currents.
Audiences gave parents some briefs trying to ещё suggest what they want to get off of the house.
I absolutely take offense to people who say that we don't have problems in Canada.
That BC has the highest child poverty rate in Canada, right?
Is that social justice? The highest child poverty rate in Canada?
The fact that children are going hungry every day, that doesn't seem to make any sense to me at all.
Meanwhile, I called around to shelters the other day.
Do you know how many shelter beds there are available in the city as of yesterday morning?
Zero for men and zero for women.
And it could happen to anybody that doesn't have the right support systems in place
by way of social services or by family support systems, right?
One guy was speaking to me the other day.
He became homeless after he came home and found his wife in bed with his boss.
