I'm in the Val Galdina in South Tyrol, Italy and today I'm going to try a Via Ferrata route,
something I've never done before, though I've done some hiking, so let's go and see what it's going to be like.
As you can see, I'm here, I'm a little bit out of breath and we're only ten minutes up the climb,
but we've got a lot higher to go yet.
So I think we're really very nearly at the top,
it's been quite scary for the first time in Ferrata, although I'm sure this is an easy one.
So let me just give you a bit of the view, there's Veronica, my guide, and see where we've come from.
Well, I've made it to the top, amazing.
I'm going to show you all of this fantastic views and the trolleys, they've all been done.
I'm on the downward slope now of the Via Ferrata, that was quite a scary but exhilarating experience,
and we're just now walking down to the valley, that you can see below.
I'm down on the cable car now, that's where we were up there doing the Via Ferrata, so it's a big thumbs up for Via Ferrata,
one of the exhilarating things that you can do in South Tyrol.
