We will do the Lucha!
We will do the Lucha!
We will do the Lucha!
So it is the GURAL March for the 2015 World Social Forum
which goes towards the Bardot museum.
Tomorrow the activities will start at the level of the University of Menard
On four days until the 28th, there will be workshops all day at the university level and at the end there will be a march for Palestine on the 28th.
It was very important to be here after the terrorist attack a few days ago.
All the social movements of the entire world have had the heart to come and say in Tunisia on the occasion of the World Social Forum
that we will continue to fight for freedom for fundamental rights and for democratic transitions everywhere.
I am Celestin Pouillat, I come from Burkina Faso and Burkina Faso, the civil society.
We believe that we can change the world and we want to make an exploit by changing a regime that the president of the U.S. compared to 27 years of existence.
We are here with 18 delegates, leaders, organizers from frontline communities in the United States, in solidarity with the Tunisian people, in solidarity with the World Social Forum process.
We are here excited to be able to share and exchange around our work, around climate, against anti-war, anti-militarism work and also our just transition work for the next economy.
We are part of also the World March of Women, the newest chapter of the world in the U.S.
We are going to be doing a lot of workshops and a lot of activities with the World March of Women and a Feminist Unite framework.
We are really happy to be here in Tunisia, especially here today in front of the Bardot Museum, fighting against all forms of terrorism, from state terrorism to attacks on civilians.
So, in solidarity with the people and happy to be here.
Tunis, Tunis, hurrah, hurrah, we live here, on the Bardot, Tunis, Tunis, hurrah, hurrah, we live here, on the Bardot.
We see a lot more, there is a great participation of the Tunisian population in this march.
Yes, so it is a reason to really come back to Tunisia.
There are also a lot of Tunisian and Maghreb youths who are here in this protest.
And of course, it is very important not to let yourself be locked up in the theme of fighting against terrorism.
You have to denounce terrorism exerted by states against their population.
The terrorism of states of the United States in the eyes of different peoples in the world.
The terrorism of the state of Israel against the Palestinian people or the Moroccan regime in relation to the Sahara people.
All of these are extremely important themes that have in mind the protesters who advance the order of solidarity with all the peoples of the planet.
And so I am once again very happy to be here.
Since the beginning, I have participated in the World Social Forum.
And I see that there is still a vigor in the mobilization around this one.
Thank you very much.
