["Pomp and Circumstance"]
It's a funny feeling before a shoot.
There's always a degree of doubt really
whether you're not going to get the shots that you want to get.
There's a degree of commercial pressure to get images
which really show the kit and the clothes and the equipment
in a light which relates to the target market.
["Pomp and Circumstance"]
So what we're hoping to achieve is to get some ice climbing
and some dry tooling shots.
So we're going to use a couple of different locations,
places that I've been to before.
We're going to use some flash to light up the ice fall.
We've got some really bright clothing.
So I want to bring out the brightness of that clothing
and also have a really nice backdrop to it as well.
So we'll come up with an image that's got a lot of impact, hopefully.

Another idea I've got is to get some ski touring equipment
and head up to this little mountain hut.
It's super atmospheric up there.
A really small hut with a burning stove.
It's a really nice atmosphere for doing some really low key shots.

Sometimes you find that the shots you get
aren't the shots that you'd imagined you were going to get,
but they still work.
And I think sometimes I'm one of the worst critical heroines.
