Hello everyone. I wonder, you know, and I speak English, but I want to make, you know,
and I'm not making an audience for, you know, on a speech, but what I like is one of my fellow
countries. I would like to speak to my own Somali language, my mother tongue. While the
mountain was my mother tongue, I would like to speak to my own Somali language, my mother
tongue. I would like to speak to my own Somali language, my mother tongue. I would like to
speak to my own Somali language my mother tongue. I would like to speak to my own Somali language.
Thank you so much for everything you took care of, thank you for everything you do today.
It's great to be here again. Thank you. US Mt.
you for inviting me and giving me this opportunity to share my experience in
Washington Somalia. Today I want to share with you my history of how I
decided to leave my home in London to make a difference in my mother country
Somalia. I'll share with you some of the challenges that I want to
through to establish a sexual chain of frustrations in the world's most dangerous place, Mogadishu.
When you heard Somalia, so you hear Paris, you had extremism and something like that.
I was born in Somalia, particularly in Mogadishu, a district called Halwudak.
In such a humble background, my mother was a single mother. She used it to bake, move a flat bread and sell to the local restaurants.
We certainly struggled through the hard work of her mother. We were able to formal education as kids.
We used it to assist our mother with work. I remember delivering goats skin far away from to the market, heavy enough for an 11-year-old kid like me.
I would be responsible not only to negotiate with buyers but also deal with competitors in the market.
In the 1980s, I decided to leave the country looking for better opportunity to the Central
and East Africa, where I spent years as an assistant truck driver and selling gas and oil. It's tough and attacking as a salary.
My goal was to go to Europe to find a better opportunity.
I went to Europe, especially in London. I went to school and college. I went to Carisca to find a better opportunity.
I went to Europe to find a better opportunity. I went to Carisca to find a better opportunity.
When I arrived in the UK, I went to a college school where most of my Somali community in the UK didn't value or consider it to be a viable career.
After completing college, I realized where I was niche in promoting Somali cuisine. I organized a business plan with the vision of presenting Somali food to a wider audience.
I also ensured that my Somali community in the UK has a place where they can enjoy the taste of Somali in all of its traditional assortments.
When I arrived in the UK, I had a lot of knowledge about Somali cuisine. I had a lot of knowledge about Somali cuisine.
I personally always believed that the idea of food culture and food was an integral part of it.
I knew that with food and great hospitality, perception can be changed easily.
Food is the only way to integrate the society.
The idea of food culture and food culture is an integral part of it.
The idea of food culture and food culture is an integral part of it.
I always hear bad history from Somalia, Paris extremism and lack of government.
Then I decided to go back to Somalia and make an opportunity for young people to make employment for those young people instead of Paris and extremism.
In 2008, I decided to open a research center in Somalia.
I decided to open a research center in Somalia, Paris extremism and lack of government.
In 2008, I decided to open a research center in Mogadishu.
My Somali fellow in London thought that I was crazy.
How can I open a research center in a dangerous area like Mogadishu?
I decided to open a research center in Somalia, Paris extremism and lack of government.
When I opened the research center, I made an opportunity to employ many young people.
They were very happy and I attracted many people to come and eat at my restaurant.
One day, I can remember that one day, it was suicide pamba who explored the whole area.
When I see the opportunity that many diaspora are going back to Somalia and many people are trying to hear the new idea from diaspora,
then I decided to open the restaurant of a beach area in Mogadishu.
The second suicide pamba was explored one day and six of my employees have been killed.
After consulting many friends and many people, then I decided that the people who lived in Mogadishu
would try to continue to open the restaurant and continue.
That's the second explosion, the suicide pamba.
My family and my children thought that I'm crazy to stay somewhere in a dangerous place like Mogadishu and run a business.
This is my first idea to open the restaurant at the beach area.
People were sitting at the home and Ahmadis started to open the restaurant and people go outside and meet some places to share different ideas.
I thought that Somalia was a dangerous place and that I was going to be killed.
I thought that I was going to be killed and that I was going to be killed.
I thought that I was going to be killed and that I was going to be killed and that I was going to be killed.
I'm not looking for only to get the money from Mogadishu but he wants to change the attitude of the whole area and make a good opportunity for the next generation of young Somalis.
I thought that I was going to be killed and that I was going to be killed.
Somalia, we hear only one thing, negative history from Somalia.
We never heard the sexist history and this invitation, Ahmad is very happy to come here and tell the history to change the image of Somalia,
to make the positive history instead of a negative and piracy all the time.
I want to send this message to the whole people and the whole world.
The food is only to eat and finish the history, the hungry.
The food is kind of culture, kind of a message which people are gathered together and can understand each other and can also create jobs to the young people and all the people.
Somalia is one of Somali people.
Somalia is recovering from civil war to better government.
My idea and many ideas who are coming in the future will change Somalia and I hope the whole people will help Somalia to recover for many years of civil war and I would say thank you very much for your attention.
