Modern art is a campaign of participation. It is a beneficial demand, participative and very playful,
which mobilises thousands of men each year, and women are also involved,
but really the most numerous part are the men,
who leave Vigoti during November to increase the awareness about the issues of health of men
and to collect funds, to then finance projects that can help to improve the situation,
to have information on how to feel and communicate about issues of health of men.
The Beneficiary Foundation of the funds collected in Spain is the FeFoc Foundation,
which is the foundation for education and education in cancer.
They are specialized in support projects, both affected by people and families.
They also make a lot of information and research projects at the social level,
at the community level.
I'm David and I coordinate the project Movember.com.
I've known Movember for four years, I've been travelling to Australia,
and I've known this movement and it seemed something totally different
and typical of anything else done, for a very serious story,
like the problem of prostate cancer, which I didn't know at the time.
When I came back to Barcelona, I started doing it on the internet.
And after two years, I managed to bring him here to Spain.
I managed to do it for the people who thought I could do it,
in a very small way, the first year we did it,
basically coordinating with me and all my friends.
It's important that each person, who really thinks about the project,
is very enthusiastic and really communicates with all the people around them,
their parents, their colleagues,
because we have to focus on Movember and participate.
It's a campaign of one month, which doesn't take much time,
but it takes a lot of time to appreciate these values.
