The historical site in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin becomes the centre of the fashion
world for the 10th time.
From the 18th to the 21st of January 2012, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week reveals the
trends for the coming autumn and winter with 52 fashion shows.
Fashion events and trade fairs welcome numerous designers and journalists.
The capsule in the centre of Berlin is just one of the many trade exhibitions which become
an important meeting place for designers during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
One of these is Berlin's up-and-coming designer, Hien Le.
He celebrated his runway debut at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin in the summer of
2011.
The winner of multiple fashion awards, his current collection focuses on combining a
variety of different materials and places a special emphasis on craftsmanship and technique.
At the exhibition, the designer will first present his collection to the fashion journalists
and press.
Before the collection is shown on the runway, the experts have the opportunity to see the
quality of his designs for themselves.
This gives the designer a chance to test the public's reaction in advance and enjoy the
positive praise before the excitement of the fashion show.
This year, Hien Le has conceived a unique fashion show.
Changing the outfits while the viewers watch serves to create
theitanic
idol.
I think it was really good. I think the feedback I received so far was very positive.
Thank you for watching.
