So in this video, I'm going to show you how to hook up MASH network to some end particles,
and then I'm just going to do something with the particles. It's not going to be anything
in particular, it's not going to achieve anything, it's just going to show you something cool.
So I'm just going to, a sphere here, I'm just going to create MASH network, I'm going to
give myself 100 objects, and then I'm going to create a noise node, then back on the waiter,
I'm going to go and create a flight node. So we've kind of got this, zoom out, kind of
got this flop going on here, I'm going to, it's a bit difficult to see. Let me just make
those objects white so you can see them better. There you go. Now just give myself some more
frames, just kind of zooming around. Right, so if you just select a MASH waiter, one of
the utilities in MASH is this set up end particles with an initial state from MASH. If you click
that, basically, I press four, you can see there's an end particle on top of every MASH
particle. So the end particles are basically parented to the MASH particles. You can then
do anything you like with end particles. You can, you know, in fact, you could use a MASH
with a bit of mouse scripting to control the radius of these things with collisions,
and yeah, do any number of interesting things, and end particles, shade them with clouds,
do whatever. However, we're not going to use them for that. What we're going to do is we're
going to create a fluid. So let's just create a 3D fluid container. I'm going to change
a few things on the container itself. I'm going to give it a resolution of 50. I'm going
to turn off gravity. I'm going to turn up dissipation. And then I'm going to scale it,
and I'm going to scale it to about the size of our scene while that is a, that is a viewport
two bug. I'm just going to, yeah, something like maybe that. And then I'm going to select
the end particles. I'm going to select the fluid, and then I'm going to go to fluid
effects, add edit contents, and mitreum objects, and I'm going to hit rewind and then play.
And as you can see, the, the basically the flocking in match is emitting, is emitting
a fluid into the, into the, is emitting into the fluid. Fire and particles. So that's
pretty cool. I'll just change a couple of settings here. We'll base this on density,
and I will change this from say something like pink to blue, maybe, like that. We'll
do that. And then, yeah, we'll just rewind and play. So yeah, it creates some, some pretty
cool, pretty cool effects. I mean, this is not the most interesting thing ever. But as
a special effect, it's, it's, you know, it took us one and a half minutes to set up.
And, and it's pretty, pretty easy to do. So there you go. And that's just using going
from mash to end particles into a fluid. I mean, yeah, simple as you like, but just,
just so you know, that feature, that utility is there.
