I have never been one to explain a lie
I always get tossed off my train of thought
I can't hold on for long for the things I've got
I don't know who I am but I'm learning what I'm not
And I had learned to walk the streets alone
I trained my feet to fall to a metronome
I am back to where I am
Navarino is located in the southernmost place in the world
very close to Cape Horn and Antarctica
It's just one hour flight from here to Antarctica
We know at least 50% of the island is still scouting every day
That means that when you come here and fish in one of the places
Many of the trials they never see before are a flight
That means that it doesn't matter how is the pattern
It's a woolly-barrier or a streamer or a dry-fly
They take any flight
Here, for example, without a helicopter we couldn't go anywhere
The helicopter is the key for the operation
We fly every day to a different spot
Sometimes we spend the night outside
And then with that you have a chance to fish even when it's late
Or when it's too late
But the helicopter is the key for the operation
I have nothing to do but wait and see
We've got such a diversity of species here within the trout family
We have brown trout, we have brook trout and we have rainbow trout
All residential fish
But also the other aspect of this is that of course in Patagonia
We have sea-run brown trout
The thing is here is that where else in the world
Would you possibly be the first person to ever put a fly down through a river
Such as the diversity of the mountain ranges
And the climate means that we have such a multitude of streams
And lakes and rivers that we've fished over the past week
And because of that diversity it holds a range of different species
Essentially it is a fly-fishing aquarium here, it is outstanding
So it's just absolutely phenomenal, this place is so pristine
There's no one here whatsoever, it's absolutely beautiful
It changes, the landscape and the scenery changes
As the weather comes through and goes again
Right now the sun is shining, I'm sure it won't last for long
But this is Patagonia, this is as far south as it goes
And it's a true wilderness experience
Wow, so we made it, yeah? Absolutely made it
Here we are, Navarino Island
Spent the past months and a half in Patagonia travelling around
Looking at chasing sea trout in Argentina, King Salmon in Chile
And we finished the trip here
And I can honestly say I think this is the wildest place that we've been
We truly are at the bottom of the earth here
The next stop from here is Antarctica
And my God have we felt it
You get winds coming straight in from Antarctica
It can be a brutal place at times, it really really can
I can feel that all as it's been
One of the main reasons that we've come to Navarino is that we are testing next generation tackle
This is the perfect testing ground for us to do products for the future
In the single handed range
And the brutality of the wind
And the environment is that means that you really do take your tackle to your extreme
So we can find out if there's any flaws by bringing it to this environment
So sadly this is the end of our Navarino experience on our Patagonian adventure
And we've had truly the most unforgettable experience
Navarino, the combination of the luxurious lodge
The adventure filled helicopter rides
And that's every day
The wonderful pilot and the amazing guides has made not just the fishing truly spectacular
But also the people that we've shared that experience with
Has been for me one of the highlights of this trip
Thank you
