Alright sis, let's have you jump on in there.
Yeah, well basically we got to make sure that it's going to be a big dog, dogs can be about
120 pounds and she needs to be able to maintain that, you know, and you know, if you ask a
big guy, you know, she's got to maintain that same kind of presence over the dog, so it's
important to make sure that everyone in the family gets a little piece of the dog so the
dog respects everyone, even the kids.
This is our Can't Core So 6 Months Old Enzo.
We just want to have a complete dog that's good around other dogs, good around kids,
and a protection dog, and here at Kelly Canine you get all that.
All these trainers here are the best and they treat us all like family, so it's enjoyable
to come here.
My name is Nico, one of the trainers here at Kelly Canine.
I'm Chris, I'm maintenance manager.
My name's Steve Canzo.
My name is Kyle.
I'm Rachel.
My favorite part of this job is actually helping the clients as handlers and owners improve
their relationship with their own Canine.
My favorite part about dog training is getting the results.
The results.
And not only do they have a great method, they have a really great team of people.
Nico's a Sharks fan too, hunker.
What's going on?
Come jump in, take a ride.
People worry about the risk of having a protection dog, where if the dog is trained, there is
no risk.
The new day and age is a lot of lawsuits and if people are responsible and do their part
in the training, then there should be very low liability.
What we're going to do is we're going to go over to this jewelry store and go work this
dog out and see how he's doing.
So we're just doing a little work with her.
She's just a pup.
She's watching the jewelry store, working a little bit of adaptation.
Come around here.
You know, this is how we do it, man.
This is, see, we're going to go meet Caesar, but he's going to have to go put away that
mustard.
She's going nuts.
How's everything?
Just reaching.
Back off, back off.
Good girl, Modelo.
Good.
So you come here.
Good.
Good.
And now grab her harness and turn this.
Good.
Good.
How you doing, sir?
Good.
Good.
Good.
How you doing, sir?
All right.
Good to see you.
Hello.
How are you?
Somebody called me and thought something was going on in here.
He's saying that the call didn't come from here.
You guys didn't call the police.
Yeah.
Thanks for the call.
No problem.
Okay.
Sounds good.
Somebody called me.
We just decoys, man.
We don't do it for real.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Cool.
So I'll be over there shortly.
All right, man.
So we are on our way to number 99, Alden Smith.
We just missing Alden.
He just jumped into a massage appointment.
So we'll be up there.
But of course, we'll have to catch up with Mr. Smith a little later.
We're going to go up there and check out his boys.
They were kind of butting heads a little bit.
So I got to go up there and make sure peace in the neighborhood.
Pimp my ride with like pimp my dogs.
Hey, what's going on?
It's Josh, dog trainer outside.
All right.
Yeah.
Here we go.
Pulling up to number 99's house.
Good.
This is my boy here.
Good boy.
Good.
Down.
Good.
Back up.
Come.
Good boy.
Sit.
Down.
That's how we do it.
So, you know, we just come up here and maintain, make sure the dogs have what they need.
You know, they need it too.
You know, it's got to maintain.
It's like a car.
You know, it's not breaking down on it if you don't keep it up.
So you check them out right here.
Nice long down.
A little quick.
All right, babies.
See you later.
I'm going to head back down to this hill.
Okay.
Well, tell them to sit their ass down.
It's obedience time.
All right.
This is a little Cali K9 trainer training.
You know, we're in here with the team.
So the faster you react and the faster you make the prey, the faster you can get your
dog to work for you.
Sit.
That's awesome.
Some of us only weigh like 30 pounds more than the dogs.
So what I like about it is, well, personally, the general nourish that I get to see the
dogs that it's like primal singing.
That's what I learned today, to agitate the dog to get a really good bite.
Today, I learned safety in doing bite work.
You don't turn your back to the dog.
Oh, it's got to sleeve up.
Well, I mean, the business is where I expected to be based on a vision.
And when you work hard, you get feedback.
You know, you get the results that you're looking for.
You know, but you got to make sure that you're working hard with the plan.
You know, and my plan was, you know, to be, you know, a well-known dog trainer and to
be able to make positive changes in the community every day.
And that's what we do.
My goal is to try to get a Cali K9 in every state, every country because this method works
and it's for the everyday person.
We're taking high quality training and giving it to the public because a lot of these cookie
cutter dog training methods, they don't get you where you're going to go.
And I see it firsthand every day because those clients come to my place every single day
saying they went to this training, it is training, it is training.
And I tell them Cali K9 is at last stop.
My name is Cesar Pascal.
The name of the business is Plasti Jewelers and we've been in Santa Clara for 30 years.
Our location in Santa Clara got robbed five times last year.
One of the reasons we decided to get a dog is because they are so faithful and respond faster
than the police.
But today, someone saw an incident outside a jewelry store and they called the police
to make sure everyone was okay.
And I was excited to see how a well-modelo behaved trying to protect the jewelry store.
I think a trained dog makes a big difference.
Oh man, so that was interesting.
Basically, we went over there to go work the dog.
And I was happy with what she did.
That was our first session ever working protection outside of the facility.
Then we had the cops called on us, which was cool.
It shows that people are paying attention.
We run around a jewelry store.
But we also were enlightened to find out about the staffing shortages and just understanding
that the city of San Jose used to be the safest city around.
And right now it's not so safe.
So the officers highly recommended that dogs were a good idea.
We're going to go over to Chris Culliver's house, go check on his two bullies and see
how they're doing and talk a little bit about what's going on with, you know, their door.
I'm coming super bold.
Yeah man, let's take a look at your boys real quick.
What's up babies?
You seen that picture you took with the 49er band in the zone?
Yeah, I posted it on my Instagram.
Yeah, I'm going to have to post that when I took it.
Yeah, it's fresh.
If you don't mind, we might have had to start bringing this big boy down, man.
Let him do a little bit of, a little bit of that protection because he got it, man.
Oh, my name is Chris Culliver with the 49ers.
Got a couple of American bullies.
Whether it's obedience or just endurance or just whatever you're trying to get your dog to do,
you know, Josh right here really pretty much can do it.
Like I said, he just came with me with all the information and I see a lot of good changes in my dogs.
Before they just act wild.
You put them in a house, you know, normally your dog would just run around wild, but you know, they just well mannered now.
And don't do bad stuff no more, you know what I mean?
Your dog always either peeing or just doing something bad, getting into something.
But like I said, I just can chill and hang around and just having your dog next to you is always cool.
Hey, hey, so we back on the road, you know, closing out the night.
Man, it's about that time to shut it down.
We just came back from Cully's house and, you know, his dogs are doing good.
.
