Tonight we are actually at the last G-Shock Sessions for the year and we're
gonna finish with a bang. We've got a very very cool line-up. We've got Scorcha,
Louis Kessian, Talie Riley, Ryan Peters, Messi, Mr. Jam on the Decks and pretty much
really really gonna be all good all good at G-Shock East Sessions. We also got
Secret Wars as well so he's gonna see a nice little graffiti battle and me
hosting Chase the Misfit.
Hey, I'm Lily and I'll be doing the ice in the news today. It's rough and lazy and I'm really sorry I'm late.
So now I'm standing here with Louis Kessian who's going to be performing tonight.
How are you feeling about performing at G-Shock?
I'm feeling good man. It's good. I just feel proud to be a part of it, you know what I mean?
I feel like I've definitely worked hard this year and it's just really nice that people like, you know,
the people that are putting on this event like have taken the time out, you know,
to get me involved in this event here. I just feel really privileged to be a part of it I guess.
I'm just really proud of it. I'm just shocked. My first G-Shock so I'm happy man.
I'm happy bunny.
How many songs are you gonna be performing tonight?
I'm gonna be performing too. Stuttering in my new single...
My new single Love Drunk and then my new single Stuttering with Mendoff.
Okay, when's that out?
January the 30th.
Let's start. Go!
I go by the name of Chase the Misfit and we're here right now in the last G-Shock E-Sessions of the year.
We've got some nice snacks tonight but first of all I want to introduce to you, I want to first of all introduce to you
who I feel vocally is representing the UK.
Alongside with another actor who's here tonight but he'll be introduced later on.
Make some noise for Louie Cassidy right now.
Yeah, I'm good.
Yeah, so first of all I just want to say a big thanks to G-Shock for having me here today.
I feel very privileged to be a part of this.
So yeah, so let's just have some fun.
Let's get into this cold outside, you know.
Son, let's go.
Son, let's go.
Son, let's go.
Right, one massive question. What is the toughest thing you've ever done in your life?
Be without a G-Shock. Be without a G-Shock.
I feel I have been missing out on this connection that I feel with my G-Shock now.
I feel like I should have got one earlier but I mean this is the hardest thing, you know.
I mean I found my true love and it's my watch man, so I'm happy man.
And you're never taking it off ever again?
Yeah, no, no, no, no, no. This is staying up man. This is for life. This is right or die.
Nody from Birmingham actually showed up so we've got two... So China represent? Yeah, so it's China.
China and Ghana, I guess they were going that far, right?
I won somehow. I'm not sure how I won but the thing is I was kind of disappointed in the work I did
because I was really like a perfectionist. So yeah, I ended up winning in the end but I'm not sure if I deserved it.
Alright, so this is Tulay Wiley, someone here with Tulay Wiley, looking very zapper in his Sergeant Outfit.
Do you want to explain it to us?
This is actually the jacket I wore in my video. So this is like a world exclusive.
The video is not out yet so this is the jacket I wore.
Sergeant Smash, you can see I've got the logo on the back. Sergeant Smash got the T-shirt on.
And yeah, man.
Looking very, very good.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Quick question, what is the toughest thing that you've ever had to do in your life?
I'd say the first time I went on stage on Ellen Carr because I knew that went up to millions of people.
As an artist, I think that was one of the biggest moments for me so far.
So yeah, I'd say that was quite tough.
That sounds tough.
I did it in the end, so yeah.
That's tough.
Are you cool?
How do you run and hope Messi is here to perform at the G-Soc questions?
How are you doing?
Good, how are you?
Yeah, not too bad, a bit sick but show must go on, you know.
I'm good, I'm good at the leggies, I'm good.
For all those who don't know anything about you, just tell them a little bit about yourself.
I'm from South East London, I've been doing music since I was in school.
Obviously, I've just been carrying on.
I went uni for like three years, Kingston, so I kind of like go back a little bit.
But obviously, this is just my passion, so I'm just starting back up for now.
What did you study at uni?
Media and culture studies and television.
I'll just give it a little bit.
Let's see.
I know you break me.
Man, I know you break me.
Let's go.
I'm saying I'm a team brother, without leap on the splash.
I'm a team brother, don't leap on top.
The camera needs to wait, I'm messing with the front of the TV.
Don't know what to trust, but I see, I'm out.
And I don't need room, you can see, I'm the man up.
I'm a risk, I'm still freezing my eyes.
And I just want to bring up your back to the hotel.
You'll see the headlight, the gigs in Dubai.
Yeah, I'm straight up, man, I do get it.
Nice to see the perfect picture, though.
We do the real way, like a border.
And the chicks got more, back to the team.
That's the friend in the corner.
And she's shaking it till it's sunny, yeah.
And I'm already with a girl, with a hand in my knee, yeah.
This girl, she's with me.
Man, he's got a different girl, but I'm doing it extra.
What is the toughest thing you've ever done in your life?
The toughest thing I've ever done, already.
The toughest thing I've ever done.
Probably my degree.
Yeah, it's tough.
Why is that the toughest?
It's just like, to keep at it, it's just like,
it's very tedious at times, but,
and it's like, a lot of work, a lot of sleepless nights
and things like that, but it pays off in the end, didn't it?
So, I've got two ones, so.
Congratulations.
Have you got yourself a G-Shop?
I'm getting one today, so.
Reflecting, realising that every day is a struggle.
Every day is a struggle, but you're getting through it, right?
Yes.
Making great music, right?
Yes.
Then we can only be happy, right?
Yes.
Thank you very much for your time.
Thank you, and hopefully we get to see you
at many, many more sessions to come.
Okay, so are we standing here with?
Mr Reeps won.
Minus the mister, maybe, but just Reeps won.
I just threw that in there in a spontaneous moment.
That was good.
Hey, what are you here to do tonight?
I was here to represent Secret Wars a little bit,
because I'm an artist, but mainly before.
So, tell us, doesn't that mean anything about you,
a little bit about yourself, other than what you've been here?
Basically, I'm a vocal percussionist.
So, I'm a UK beatbox champion,
and I destroy crowds towards the loan,
and there's no use of any special effects.
It's just all me, and you have to kind of see it
to acknowledge it.
I acknowledge it.
What is the toughest thing you've ever done in your life?
The toughest thing I've ever done in my life.
I've overcome, actually, developed the skill
to get good at what I do.
So, not necessarily the level I've achieved,
but the ability to excel in something
that I've not been taught or read a book on,
just having the mental capacity to progress without.
And that's probably the toughest thing
that I've done as a performer.
I'm standing here with Ryan Peters.
He'll be performing tonight.
Guitar, how are you?
I'm good, thank you very much.
But all those who don't know anything about you,
just say a little bit about yourself.
Well, my name's Ryan Peters, as you said.
R-I-A-N.
A lot of people think it's Rihanna, but it's Ryan.
I'm a singer, I'm a songwriter, I'm a dancer,
I'm an entertainer, so that's what I do.
Thank you.
Thanks for enjoying the concert.
Song
Big question...
What is the toughest thing you've ever done in your life?
Hardest thing that I have ever done in my life
I would say...
Performing in front of 50,000 people
wow
80,000 people
Where was that? That was at Wembley State.
Okay, so I'm standing here with my Moe, one-third of the legendary Heartless Crew.
Hi, Moe. Hello, babes, you alright?
I'm good, how are you? I'm very well, thank you.
I'm good, I'm always good. I'm glad to see you.
What are you here to perform tonight?
I'm going to do a couple tracks of my new mixtape.
It's called the Aglio mixtape, doing a track with a rebar.
I think I'll do Dangerous, my next single, and maybe another one.
Aglio mixtape!
Hi, hi, hi!
Tell me my name's Paul, I'm not that mighty.
Tell me my name's Paul, I'm not that mighty.
I broke a party for this fight.
It's very natural light.
That's a Pfizer.
Have you got yourself a t-shirt?
Have I got myself a t-shirt? Yeah, I'm wearing one right now.
How do you like that one?
Oh my God, which one's better? Mine or yours?
It's a bit pretty, isn't it?
We're here outside G-Shock Sessions, standing outside,
school, just playing with his G-Shock.
You out there, mate?
I'm trying to, I got one of these, but I'm trying to change the timbre.
I always struggle to change the timbre.
Which one do you think's nicer? Mine or yours?
We're going.
What is the toughest thing you've ever done? Ever?
Toughest thing I've ever done.
It could be anything, anything at all.
Being born.
That doesn't count.
Have you got yourself both something else?
Toughest thing I've ever done.
Maybe, I felt a bit nervous opening up the Snoop Dogg, you know.
I'm not even going to let that out. I felt a bit nervous that day.
But I did that alright, so.
Doesn't it?
That would have to be the toughest.
