Hello everybody this is Adrienne here in London and today my video log is simply about cooking
raw food because I'm very excited and it's a fantastic distraction from my college projects.
So what I've made today for my friend Grant is I've made a mushroom pate which the ingredients
were mushroom, celery, parsley, garlic, chilli, miso, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame
seeds and water and that's very delicious and here I dehydrated some tomatoes and made
tomato crisps with a little bit of chilli and a little bit of tamari and then over here
we have coconut curried tempeh actually not coconut an almond curried tempeh.
So the almond curry sauce is almond butter, curry powder cumin, curry and garlic olive
oil, dates and almond extract and then the tempeh that I made is almond, sunflower seeds,
walnuts, parsley, red pepper, onion, fresh dill, fresh oregano.
Which bit is the tempeh?
This is the tempeh.
Oh ok, fantastic.
So it's fresh dill, fresh oregano, fresh rosemary and garlic and salt and then decorated with
a little bit of moj two and raw cauliflower and then for the salad we have a salad.
And this is incredible, look at the colour.
Sunflower sprouts and a fresh spiralised carrot with some watercress, some little cosilus
and some avocado, tomato and spinach with a fresh made avocado mayonnaise for the topping
and we'll have a little bit of tahini on top of that and of course a carrot and apple
juice.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Thank you so much.
This is very exciting.
I've never tried this before.
Back for dessert and for dessert I've made us raw crepes with flax, they made a flax
meal and banana and some cinnamon and nutmeg and I filled it with pureed frozen banana
which makes banana ice cream with fresh strawberries, with fresh strawberry puree and then whipped
raw cashews with some vanilla essence to make cashew cream and then sprinkled with some
freshly grated coconut which we grated with this fabulous contraption which comes all
the way from Fiji that my dad helped me pick out and you basically sit on it like that
and you grate all fresh coconuts like these hairy ones and then you can have your own
personal coconut in thing.
Fantastic, you're a genius Adrian, it's amazing, thank you.
These are fantastic, absolutely delicious I have to say.
Our final course in our raw meal, we've got some raw coconut banana and raisin cookies
that I've been baking for the last 12 hours and some blueberry muffins, delicious absolutely
fantastic.
And the blueberry muffins are nice with a little bit of cashew icing on the top of
them but we ate all that without dessert and the only thing we're going to have that
isn't raw is a nice cup of Roy Bosch or grey decaffeinated yummy yummy tea and you can
see that I love New York.
Thank you so much, what a delicious lunch.
You're very welcome, welcome at Adrian's restaurant anytime.
