In the island of Luzon, at the province of Camarena Sur, the city of Irga is home to
a reunion. Irgania is from all over the world, from different ways of life.
Cut together to celebrate in Makbenayda.
Makbenayda means reunion. 2016 marks the sixth anniversary and the second in the Philippines.
The Irga Beagle Association of America was the host for this year's festivities led by President
Purina Grandpa and Chairwoman Marilyn De Los Yagas. This is such an honor and privilege to be
invited here. Makbenayda received a warm recognition by Mayor Ronald Felix Alfalo with
Dinner and Entertainment. Welcome back to Irga City. Thank you very much for bringing
Irga City to be the place where you will hold your Makbenayda.
Preparation and planning was crucial for success.
In 2007, devastation by Typhoon Reming initiated the reforestation of Mount Irga
Rainforest. Through the donations of 1 million trees, the rainforest has been thriving ever since.
A cultural exchange took place between the octa and the deforestation ever.
Through partnership and a desire to better each other, everyone benefited.
It didn't stop there. The donation of medicine, food, classes, and volunteering
of medical professionals led the Unitarianism.
The effort deserved a pat on the back for the trip to Balotani.
A Gullinite finale at Villa Mariana Resort.
And the Tanaka Festival Parade.
God has blessed us with humility as we celebrate life's simplicity.
It provided us with precious moments to share with our families.
Stories that will impact our lives, our future, and our homes. We may live in different parts
of the globe, but we will always call Irga our home.
