Hey, Casual Cal here, and you know what?
The Southside is back.
Actually, it never went anywhere.
So for all of you who did not know,
there's gold in the Southside.
You better run and come get some.
Congratulations to Old National Marketplace and the Southside.
Here are some of the remaining entry tickets.
I am the concepts manager and owner of Hillman B2 and let me start by saying thanks to each
and every one of you for coming out.
There were several people here that we emailed and we called on several occasions.
You guys were kind and gracious enough to return those communication efforts and not
only that kind and gracious enough to confirm to give us your time on a Saturday.
So again, we're greatly appreciative of that.
The old national marketplace, this facility is nearly 300,000 square feet and it represents
a 33 million dollar development in South Forch County.
So that's a very significant interest and it's very evident that there are some people
who has a desire to see South Forch County continue to grow and prosper so we do appreciate
that.
I have to recognize someone who has been very supportive of not only the collective efforts
but my personal efforts to coordinate and complete the logistics of this and that's
Dolores Baskin out of the commissioner's office.
Thank you so much as well.
Here with us, we have a few people who are going to offer remarks regarding the old national
marketplace.
We have with us Randy Joseph who is the Vice President of Inland Atlantic Development.
He's the furthest person to my left.
We also have Wayne Kendall.
Wayne is the President of Heritage Creek Development.
To my immediate left, we have Don Winbush and Don Winbush is the current President of
the Old National Merchants Association and we have Diane Matthews to my right who's the
President and CEO of the South Forch and Chamber of Commerce followed by Senator Donzella
James of District 35 and the ever-present but not right now, Bill Het was the Commissioner
of Forging County District 7.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate that intro.
Greetings, everyone.
Greetings.
On behalf of the South Forch and Chamber of Commerce, our Board Chair, Laban Devers,
who's here somewhere, I don't see her right now, and our Board and all of the members
of the Chamber, we extend our warm congratulations to the Old National Community and we send
congratulations and thank you to Wayne Kendall, especially for your vision and your dedication
and to Inland Atlantic Development as well as Heritage Creek Development Corporation.
Happy holidays and it's truly going to be happy holidays.
Now that we can shop in our own area, right?
Let's give Mr. Bryant a hand.
He's been doing a great job too, working so hard and you can never say no to him.
I had five things to do today but he told me I'd better be here too.
Testing one, two, three.
All right, man.
Have it.
I'm Wayne Kendall.
I am the original developer of this project called the Old National Market Place.
So we've been a year in the making, construction-wise and this is a great day, a good day for us.
The sun's out, a little chilly but a great day never to less.
We got a fan here.
We had a great program today, speaking about the program and the project and now I got started.
So we're glad to be here today and glad to tell you all came out just fine.
Congratulations to all our tenants, all the people that come to County, the contractors
that helped us to put it together as well as the tenants and the supporters in the neighborhood
and the community.
Glad to be here.
Glad to be here.
Thank you.
