We're off to a terrible start on this road trip.
The top pipe on my radiator has just burst, so we're waiting for the roadside assistance
to come give us a tow.
So the tow truck is finally loaded up and we are on our way.
Fingers crossed we can get this thing repaired sooner rather than later.
So we're currently stranded near Oberon which is about three hours west of Sydney inland.
We're currently waiting for Joel's dad to come here with a car trailer and tow us back
to Sydney.
We're about to get back on the road.
Joel's faithful Commodore is hopefully going to get us two Canangra walls through the Blue
Mountains and back, so after a setback that consumes the best part of a day, we're finally
here at Canangra walls about to set up a tent for the evening.
There's not a whole lot of available light right now, so there's nothing that we can
really shoot.
We're just going to get prepared for a big day tomorrow.
So we went to sleep extremely early last night in order to wake up at 4.30am this morning
to catch the sunrise and the fog rolling around through this valley.
An absolutely incredible display of the force of Mother Nature.
Possibly the most epic cliffside and valley in the entirety of Australia.
Unfortunately, where I'm from, we don't get a whole lot of autumn tones, so it forced
me to head up to here to the Blue Mountains to chase those beautiful red autumn leaves
that you see on these trees above me.
So after a very cruisy descent down through the lush greenery, we are finally at the base
of the Grand Canyon.
This is an absolutely incredible slot canyon.
Look at the size of these cliffs.
Beautiful stream running through here as well.
I just sent the drone up and got a beautiful shot flying through here.
I was very skeptical, but I managed to get it perfect first go.
How about that?
Almost back at the car now after what was one of the most epic yet exhausting walks
I have ever been on, but 100% worth it.
I'm here at the Three Sisters in Katoomba, arguably the busiest tourist destination in
the Blue Mountains.
As you can see, there's people everywhere to check out this rock structure.
The name is fairly self-explanatory as you can see.
So after three rather eventful days, we're on our way back home.
The Trassee Commodore got us out of Kananga Wars and back to spite a day's worth of setbacks.
Thank you very much to everybody for tuning in.
