Saving Biodiversity in the Ocean is the same as saving Biodiversity in the Ocean.
Saving Biodiversity in the Ocean is the single most important thing that anybody can address right now.
For the most part, people aren't really aware of how serious the situation is.
Every single commercial fishery in the world is in a state of collapse.
We have the personal experience of oceanic issues.
We always try to appeal to two communities, the scuba divers and the surfers,
because we feel that these are two groups of people that have an affinity for the ocean,
that have an understanding for the ocean and a love for the ocean.
And the surfers are probably more so than anybody else.
We're tasting it. We're smelling it. We're feeling it on our skin.
You know, we're sick when the water is sick.
Taking that kind of intimacy and really deep knowledge of the water to his community
and to his governments and things is a really powerful thing.
And that's something that's going to continue to grow.
Sea Shepherd is not a protest organization. We're an interventionist organization.
I don't really give a damn what people think about what we do.
We're immune to criticism. Our clients are well.
There's a huge activist community in that we know our areas so intimately.
We know our waters. We know our coastline. We know the animals in that area.
We know the rivers so intimately on a personal level that we feel it.
Our oceans and waves face serious risks.
It isn't just about riding waves in the ocean. It's about our love for the ocean.
Now is our time to protect ocean life.
So won't you light up the night with your smile?
Rest it. There you go.
Yo man.
