Let me ask you something, didn't you have a, didn't you have a subject today about YouTube
Warner Brothers?
Oh, I'm going to tell you, yes, okay, because we, we have, we do have time.
Let me tell you what's happening.
Warner Music Group is, you know, and it's wonderful power struggle that they're all
doing.
Warner Music Group has gone to YouTube and had YouTube pull the music, all their music
from YouTube.
Now, let me tell you the implications of this.
A lot of people have been making what we call mashups, you know, they have their little
kids singing, you know, you can't touch this, a little three year old dancing.
So what YouTube has done is made a bunch of these videos absolutely silent, no soundtrack.
Some of them have actually been removed without any notification whatsoever.
Now, it's a risky move on YouTube's part, they're saying it's because of the Warner
Music Group.
But let me just tell you, go on YouTube and search WMG or Warner Music Group and look
at the protests coming back.
Boy, they have some wonderful videos talking, a lot of crap, you guys, and they're hilarious
because people are pissed off and look what they pissed off, they didn't piss off the people
like us, even though they often were hitting us without even, I don't know if they intend
to, but we've had videos of ours removed that we own, but still people are pissed off.
So they're out there right now.
Oh, definitely.
And I think what happens is that this is a strategic move.
But then for probably revenue, strategic moves, there's now going to be a backlash.
Oh hell, the backlash.
You think about it, it's going to be a backlash.
And so in the end, is Warner Brothers really trying to be this statement, they're taking
the lead on this, their own rebellious way of saying, look, we don't know all the back
scores.
We just know that the consequences right now are far reaching and you know, it's kind
of hard once you turn into being the bad guy of the bad company.
They're all bad.
That's easy.
Okay, let me tell you guys, and you can go to my bookmarks and take a look at it.
There's one that starts off with a picture of Madonna giving them the finger.
Okay.
Wow, I like that.
And like example, I'm looking at it right now, I just went to YouTube, I did a search
for WMG, and here's one of the first videos that comes up.
This video says it all, featuring the middle finger from Madonna, probably the most famous
middle finger of all.
Oh boy, they are really pissed off at them, they're calling them, oh boy.
It is well known that the big recording glommers hate the internet, the music industry is stuck
in the dark ages when people had to buy a physical copy of whatever music they wanted.
They're against the free flow of information that is the internet as we know it.
They don't like the idea that someone could get their favorite music for free off the internet
so they consider uploading videos that have music on them to be copyright infringement
or piracies.
What these companies don't understand is that sites such as YouTube help promote their music.
This is statistically true.
True.
A lot of people discover new music on YouTube and they actually go and buy it, they just
don't get it, and they were making money from the advertising so what are they complaining
about?
Now they will have no promotion to make no music group.
Warner Music Group has also caused problems of other websites as well, and also with iTunes.
Warner Music Group's CEO Edgar Bromfman is also the same person who organized the music
industry to suit masters a few years back.
Listen, go on there, listen to what the fans are saying.
It's really an unpopular move.
They need to find better ways of doing this.
Some things they just are still stupid about because let's face it.
You should be able to copy music that you own and play it, it's just like a book.
Imagine this you guys, imagine if you bought a book, you went to the bookstore and they
told you, oh, this book you're buying, you can't load it to anybody.
Oh, and you could only read it in your house.
Oh, you could only read it in your house in this room.
Can you imagine that crap?
That's what they're trying to tell us about our music.
They say, you could buy this CD, but you can't load it to somebody.
You could buy this CD, but you can't put the files online.
You could buy this CD, but you can only listen to it on this computer.
You know what they can do?
Okay.
Don't you use that.
You better show up.
Let's just say, I have a suggestion for my zipper stuff.
Okay.
Hold on.
So this is why, this is where the backlash, everybody send us, send us what you think
about this latest effort.
You know, and look, that's a great overview.
How much time we got?
About, like a couple of seconds, huh?
Yeah.
We're over, we're over, we're over, we're over, we're over, we're already over.
We're done.
See, this is what happens at Paxter.
We can't keep it to 10 minutes.
Right.
We can't keep it.
We tried.
But you know what, wait a minute.
You were reading some comments.
Is it related to the store?
It's related to the story, but let's see, of course, because Nessie's definitely still
online in Hollywood.
What are you doing?
And she's like, tell him he is so cool is what she says.
Tell him what you, tell him what you Mario.
There you go.
But move that cord, please, so she can see the logo.
I'm okay.
I'm going to put the cord.
I'm away.
You know, we, we had troubles with our audio.
Oh yeah.
And you know, you got to hear.
It's just like, you know, you're making love.
Sometimes you got to see.
Or radio, you got to hear.
No, not analogy.
Yeah.
You have to be there.
Oh, well, you have to be careful now.
I need my head phone.
This TMI.
TMI.
All right.
TMI.
Okay.
We're over.
Done.
Let's say goodbye.
Yeah.
We have to sit back and look, we appreciate everything that's being done out there for
the fan base that's following us and we got people hollering out outside the studios.
Let me.
He's the contractor.
Yeah.
There's our fans trying to get some free tickets.
That's right.
So, hey, you want to send them up for anything tomorrow?
Yes.
All right, you guys.
