Well, I'm going to one of my favorite ponds. We'll see if Mr. Bass is doing anything worthwhile.
Oh, that water is clear.
I like to wake it just under the surface. See if there's anything out there active first.
I'm going to do the fan casting. There's one right there. You can see him. He's fighting pretty good.
He's not a little bass.
I have a farm pond bass. There's one just a little bit deeper water. I don't know how deep this pond is.
He's filled it in a lot over the years. We'll see if there's another one hanging around out there somewhere.
I know there's bigger ones and there's another one right there.
He's fighting pretty hard too. He's fighting real hard.
Maybe a little bit bigger.
He must have been falling it in.
There's another nice one. Just under the surface over the top of those weeds that's laying down in there.
I'll just tip some weeds there. I'll slow it down just slightly.
There's nothing down there but weeds, no logs, no sticks, nothing like that.
I'll just try to keep varying my retrieve until I find out what they want again.
I missed him.
I tossed it out there again. He just might try for it again. He just never knows.
There's something else tight on that I can throw instead. I had a topwater. There he got it. He did take it second time. How about that?
See if they'll come up and jump for us. Probably not. They all seem to be staying down low. They don't want to jump.
They're all nice. They're not lunkers but they're not bad bass. There's four. They're all about the same size. I've caught them in here six and seven pounds before.
I'd like to get one of those today.
There's one.
I hated that it was just falling.
That's the first one that's actually come up and jumped a little.
I'm trying to get them to come up and jump but they just won't. They want to stay deep.
I don't want to come in here. Another chunky.
Thanks for watching.
