Hello and welcome to another episode of Skywitch Women One-on-One. I'm Sharon Gilbert, your host,
and I am so happy to have today's guest because I've been trying to get her on for months,
but she was using that lame excuse. I'm pregnant, and I just want to wait till after I have the
baby. So here's little whiny new mama, Christina Peck. I'm so glad you're here. Finally, finally,
finally. And later on, you want to make sure you watch the entire episode because toward
the end, the real star of Skywatch TV, Adam Peck is going to be making his television debut.
You've been with Skywatch for almost a year. Almost a year. Yeah, when did you guys come here?
It was mid-January of this year, 2016, Michigan. A long way away. Well, you were born in Michigan.
I was. I was born in Flint, Michigan, in McLaren. Or Flint, Michigan. Yes, I was born there. I didn't
live there. I grew up in a small town of Goodrich. But I remember you have, by the way, in case you
have not subscribed, Skywatch TV Magazine features, Christina, in this month's issue,
in the November issue. And your story, it's a series that we call Behind the Globe just looking
at the various people at Skywatch. Your story says that your mother is Jewish. Yes. She's
now Christian. She became Christian as a young girl. But so you were raised partly in the Jewish
faith. Yes, partly. Yep. She converted when she was 19 into the Christian faith. But she held on to
her, her Jewish feasts. So Passover is definitely one of the things that we've always celebrated.
It was a Passover dinner. Passover Seder, as we did it. Do you and Josh do that, too?
We haven't done it yet, but I'd like to. I'd like to do that, just to hold on to something,
something fun. Well, I think that's a wonderful idea. Now, is she still living?
Yes, she is. Does she still do those things? The last time she hosted one with some of the
friends of at her church that she was attending, she's been asked to do that throughout the years.
I think the first time is shortly after Josh and I got engaged back in 2007 was the first one that
she hosted. You tell a great story in this article that you were considered the Abraham
and Sarah baby. Can you explain that to me? Yes. Well, my older four siblings, my parents had them
very close together. My oldest brother and my sister are what you call Irish twins. They're 15
months apart. I didn't know it was called that. It's called Irish twins. And then my brother, Michael,
he's about 11 years older than I am. My oldest brother is 15 years older than me. Then I have my
sister who's a little over 13 years older. And then my brother, Michael, who's almost 11 years
older than me. And then my brother, Jason, who is seven years older than I am. And then I came around
when my mom, my mom had me when she was 36. And my dad was seven years older than my mom. And he was
43 when I was born. Oh my goodness. I bet they were so happy that you came along because you're
an extraordinary one. Thank you. You really are. But you know, you didn't have an easy life. Early
in life, 14 years old or so, you were in a car crash that should have taken your life. Yes.
Yep. I was in a near fatal accident, which involved a Durango and a Mazda truck. And
we were in a little neon. And we were hit by a drunk driver and broadsided. So they had to get
the jaws alive to get us get the driver out at least. And I was sitting behind the driver.
And the driver and I were, we were all hurt in the accident, obviously, in a little neon
being crushed. The Mazda was going over our car. I was with a friend. And it was three days after
Christmas is December 28. Oh my goodness. Yeah. I remember hearing you tell someone though that
you had a near death experience. Yes, I did. Yes. Very true. I, I remember before we were hit,
I remember looking over because I felt the car, you know, someone slam on the brakes. It was,
it was my, my friend's sister's boyfriend who was driving us back to my house who were having a
sleepover. And I felt it. So I leaned over my friend who was sitting in the middle and I could see
what looked like it looked to me as if a car was backing out of their driveway, but really they
were hit by the drunk driver behind them. And so we were then they came into our lane and we were
hit head on and then we're broadsided again. And I remember just kind of looking around.
I could sense emotion. I could see some of the lights. I could, I heard my, my friend's sister
in the front seat, like just crying and just screaming. And I'm looking around. I could see
bright lights, you know, all around. And I just felt like time was moving so slow for me and everything
seemed like in slow motion. And then all of a sudden I felt like I was like, I heard like this
vacuum sound like, then I felt like I was being sucked in somewhere. And then I woke up and the
paramedic who was standing over me, I was leaning over me really, I looked down. He said, Oh,
you're alive. Well, they'd been talking to you and you were answering, but they, that you were not
answering. You thought you were. I was. Yeah. In the hospital, I thought that I was talking back
to everybody because my sister, I was actually in a coma. My sister came in and she was talking to
me in the hospital. And I thought I was answering her back. I thought I, because she was talking about
my cat. I had this half Siamese cat who adopted me as her person. And she was, I remember my
sister was telling me, you know, precious is very upset that you're not at home. She's in your room.
She won't let anybody go in there. And you verified that these are conversations that really,
that's amazing. And because I, when I came to later after, after that first day, I was in and
out of all the first two days I was in and out of a coma really. But I came to, and I was telling
Debbie, I was like, it's precious behaving now. And you know, she, I can't wait to see her, you
know, and, because I thought I was talking to her when she told me that precious wasn't letting
anybody in my bedroom. And she was, you know, being very protective of it. I thought I was saying,
well, you know, just, just tell her, I'll be okay. I'll be, I'll be home soon. And, and I thought I
was telling my sister all the, because it was three days after Christmas and my, my friend that I
was in the accident with, we were exchanging our gifts and we went to the mall to spend our Christmas
money. And that, and I was telling her, well, I got this beautiful wooden box from Nicole and, and
it has a picture of a unicorn on it. And so it's a nice drawer box. I can't wait to show it to you.
And then she was, it just was an odd conversation because she was telling me about my cat. And I
was trying to tell her about the Christmas presents and everything. And, and it was just
awkward for me. And then when I, when I woke up, I was like, how's precious doing? Is she still
guarding my room? And my sister's like, how do you know about that? Oh my goodness. Because you
told me and I was talking to you and neuroscientists are really still trying to figure out exactly
what happens to people who are comatose. And there are many, many people, sadly, in hospitals who
have been comatose, comatose for weeks, months and sometimes years. And I don't know that they
always remember when they do come out. I don't know that they always remember conversations that
took place. This is phenomenal that the Lord's given you that ability to recall that. Yes. Yes.
I remember that. There's, there's a reason that you recall that. Yeah. It was, and I remember
hearing conversations with the doctor, between doctors and nurses too, because they didn't,
I was still in a coma, that I would never walk again. I would never talk again. I would, and
they told me this when I was awake too, that I'd probably never have children.
Well, that, they were wrong then, weren't they? Well, you're, let's just fast forward a little
bit. You meet Josh Peck. How'd you meet him? We were both working at McDonald's. My dad actually
convinced me to go back and work at McDonald's. So I was first working at a store with my
brother as he was a step below the, the store manager here, a first assistant is what they
called him back then. And so I was working there with him and my sister, who was also a swing
manager. And I, I was working there. And then the store had changed hands and I left because
we didn't quite agree. Like my sister didn't agree. I didn't agree with the new owners and
what was taking place. It wasn't a family atmosphere anymore. So we, I left that store.
And then a year and a half later, my dad said, well, you know what? This McDonald's
in Holly, Michigan is hiring. And I said, I don't really want to go back to McDonald's. Dad,
I did that for almost a year and I want to do something else. I tried everything else and
nothing else, no other phone calls. And so I finally agreed. I'm like, okay, dad, all right,
I'll go. So he took me up there. He's, we spoke to one of the assistants up there.
And she's like, Oh, you're, you're Mike Kramer's sister. Yes, I am. And, and he's, and she said,
okay, well, you're hired. I'm like, Oh, all right, cool. Love that. Right. So I, I, I met Josh there.
It was my second day of orientation there. And I, I heard this voice from back in the grill. I was
working up front. He said, Hey, hey, new girl. I'm like, I turned around. I'm like, excuse me.
He's like, who are you? I'm like, um, my name's Christina.
He didn't make a big impression that first time. No, it was like, excuse me. Who are you?
And he's like, well, I'm Josh. And I was like, Oh, hi.
Then we became really good friends. And then a year and a half later, we started dating. And
then a year and a half after that, we were engaged. And then a year and a half after that, we were
married. You know, the Lord definitely had this in mind the whole time. And he, you know, I, I
sometimes picture him sitting there in the divine council and talking, you know, to the, the many
angels who were there who were still loyal. And, and to those of us who, you know, ancestors,
our loved ones who were there, perhaps talking to him. And look what I'm about to do. Yeah.
I'm going to get these two together. Oh, no, they'll never work. And I'm going to do this.
She's going to have children. So in a minute, we're going to come back. You're going to get
to hear the rest of that story because she was told, you'll never have a child. And that's just
not how it turned out. So stay tuned. We will be right back. Coming exclusively from Skywatch TV

was just telling us all about how she got to be Mrs. Josh Peck. Left that Kramer name behind when
he came back. And you were told when you had that accident that you would never have children.
Well, you have three children today. Spoiler. But you miscarried the first time. Tell us about
that because I know that we have viewers who have been through that. Yes, it was, Josh and I were
married October 24, 2009. And he knew going into the marriage that we may never have children
and that we would probably adopt later down the road. Well, January 2011, so about almost
three months after we were married, I started to have these weird pains. And I couldn't stand
up one day at work. I was working in a doctor's office. And we worked right next door to an OBGYN.
And one of the physician assistants was like, what's going on? I'm like, I am having the worst
pain of my life right now. And she said, well, you might have some cysts or you might want to go
next door. So I made an appointment. I went next door and they took some blood tests. Is there
a possibility that you're pregnant? Probably not. I was told I'd never have children.
And they're like, well, let's do a blood test anyway. And so they did the blood test. Two days
later, I got a phone call at the doctor's office and they told me that there was HCG still in my
blood and that it looked like I hadn't been scared and pregnant. And if I if that were the case,
that it was only between four and six weeks. So I was it was very I had no idea that I was pregnant.
And it crushed me. I didn't tell Josh for three days that that that's what had happened. I went
home. I kind of shut down. And I didn't say anything. And so one night we were I was upset and
stressed out about something we were talking. And and then it just kind of came out that that it was
that I had miscarried. And he's like, you don't know that for sure. I was like, no, I got a phone
call three days ago. And he's like, oh. And so it crushed us. It completely we we were really
devastated. We didn't really talk about it after that. I didn't want to. And well,
then seven months later, I found out that I was pregnant with Jacqueline, our oldest.
And I was scared because I was you know, I because you've been told you'll never have children.
I never and maybe it didn't mean you won't conceive them, but you won't be able to carry it.
That's right. And if it were by off some offset chance that I would be able to conceive that I
would probably not be able to carry full term. And when I found out I was pregnant, and I tried to
be happy, you know, and I told Josh, I'm like, well, I found out I was pregnant. And that I am
pregnant again. And so he was really excited because it was to the point where, wow, you know,
clearly I'm pregnant. And then eight weeks in, I started spotting. And I got so scared. I was at
work when it happened. And I ran right next door. And I told I told the office manager what was
going on. She's like, we'll go next door. And then I got to see the ultrasound for the first time.
And there was a heartbeat. I saw the heartbeat on the screen. She said, there's your baby's heartbeat.
She's just fine. You know, and they then say he or she, but you know, it was the baby's fine.
And so I was in, I was in tears. And I, I couldn't believe it. And I have a healthy
baby girl who's five years old. She's an extraordinary baby girl. She is very, she's
very grown up. And yet she loves to play very bright. Yes, got a lot of you in her. You know,
I know that many, many people out there that love to watch into the multiverse, they're so
digging on the fact that Josh is able to explain things. But you have that same capability, you
can see into a complicated issue and explain it. And in fact, you probably would have ended up,
who knows if you'd finished, you know, you had dreams in college of doing all sorts of stuff.
Satellite engineering. You studied medicine and physics. I studied medicine, studied physics.
I, I studied all of it. And then because I was still working at McDonald's, I worked there for
14 years. I was like, let's try business because I don't see any, I don't see going anywhere.
But the Lord's using all that, you know, and, and I love it at the end of your article in
the Skywatch TV magazine issue. It's Romans 828. And that is exactly what the Lord has been doing
in your life. He does it in all of ours, but there are some lives it's easier to see it in.
Your life, he has had his hand upon you from the moment you were born, giving you the background,
the experiences, and in many cases, the really hard times. And look where you are now. You can
preach that message to people through your ministry. You and Josh started a ministry long
before you came to Skywatch though. So how did that, that start? Well, Jackman was about 13
months old and Josh had discovered Tom Horn through it's supernatural. And, and, and, and yet
Sid Roth and L.A. Marzulli was on and he was sharing his testimony and Josh has a very similar
testimony, you know, with the new age background and things like that. So well, he started reading
things on L.A. Marzulli and then he, then he discovered, oh, Tom Horn. And then so we started
tithing and giving towards ministries that we believed were really helping us and, and, and
understand the Bible more. And it just changed our lives. So we got the 2012 Branson pack and DVD
set. So we started listening to them and he's like, wow, this is so wonderful. This is awesome. I
really think that this is what God wants me to do. And Chuck Missler was there. And Chuck Missler.
So, and it just, it just, it just encouraged him to write, start writing. He's like, I think God
wants me to write. I've tried writing in, in the past, but I really think this is what he wants
me to write about. So he started his first book and then he started many study books. And that's
what the name of the ministry was, many study ministry. And I said, okay, honey, go for it.
Do what you want to do. And you never know where this will take you someday. And I was helping out
in the background while I was working, sometimes two jobs at one time, because Josh was told he
would, he wouldn't be able to work because of his hip, his hip, his bone disease. He had to stop
working an actual job two weeks before we got married. So we were struggling, trying to make ends
meet. And he was finally granted disability after a while after our daughter was born.
That's when the benefits really started to come in. And then they would deplete after a while.
They would change things. And then they realized their mistake and bring them back. And it was a
headache. But we made it through. And it surprisingly brought us here. And I don't know how it happened,
but it happened. The Lord has had a plan from day one for both of you. You mentioned Josh's bone
disease. Can you explain that for those who have never heard that story? Yes, it is actually one
in a million, exactly one in a million people around the world will have it. It's a mutation
of the bone. It's a degenerative bone disease called Trevor's disease. And what it causes is
excess bone growth on one side of the body, either in the hip, the knee, or the ankle, or sometimes
all three. And in Josh's case, on the right side, it's all three. And it and he's had some surgeries
to get the cartilage out. You know, I was on and see was a young boy. And then 2013, January,
not January, July of 2013, he was finally able to get that surgery to get a hip replacement. So
which is why we get stopped every time we go through the airport with Josh Pat. I'm sorry,
but you're going to have to come over here. There's metal in your body. Yes, it does. It sure does.
And so and after that, the because it was extensive surgery, the orthopedic surgeon said
that he probably shouldn't try going back to work until a little over a year after. And a little
over a year, we got an invitation to come work for Skywatch TV. I hadn't realized at the time he
came out. That's the once once again, the Lord, look what I'm going to do. Yeah, that's right. Wow,
that is just so cool. So I misspoke. It was July of 2014. He had that surgery. Oh, I was trying to
line it up with my son's birth. It was my older son 2013. He was born, but it was July 2014. He
had that surgery. So you just gave birth recently again. Yes. This is why you we wanted to wait until
and I have to say, darling, you are so beautiful. Anyway, you were made one of the prettiest pregnant
women. Oh, thank you. But you it's like, where'd the weight go? I don't know. It happened with
the other two as well. I'm all baby. And then it goes away. Well, we've got Adam on the set now
and Christina, it took us a few minutes to get it because there was a little bit of a wardrobe
malfunction. Tell you what, Adam, you are just you're too you're too cool for television. That's
right. Say hi to everybody. Look at the lights. Two months old. Yes, he's two months old. It was
born September 12. And it's Adam Joe. Did you hear it? Say hello to everybody. Say hi. He is so
precious, especially when you think that that you were told you would never have children.
And now you have three amazing children. And who knows? That's right. We have three more. Who knows?
You never know. I'll tell you what, around here, if I weren't as old as I am and know that I truly
am in a Sarah situation, if the Lord gave Derek and me a baby, that would be a true miracle.
But I'll tell you what, it's almost possible around here because every time I turn around,
somebody new is saying guess what? I know. Well, babies are the best gifts of all and they keep
things going, especially as we get into December. And Skywatch TV is of course moving into our
December season. The holidays are coming. Thanksgiving is next week. We're recording this
one week before Thanksgiving. And we just pray that you will have a wonderful, wonderful time with
your family. And praise the Lord that you have the family you do. I know that we're going to
squabble. We're going to disagree on things. But stop for a minute. Thank him that you have each
other. Most of all, thank him that we have Jesus Christ, our Savior. Because without him,
we would be the worst, the most miserable of men and women. Thanks for tuning into Skywatch
Women One-on-One for Christina Peck and Adam Peck. I'm Sharon Gilbert. Bye-bye.
