What drove you to do the jewelry instead of clothing?
The jewelry shed, it was something that I learned from my father, my stepfather.
We wanted to do something that was special.
Something that means something and can be saved for something, you know, possibly to pass now.
These things, the jewelry, it's made out of metal, it's going to last, you know, EMB and soypes.
The bench and the table and each piece is going to talk to someone else in a different genre.
That's what we started the brand with was the spots.
People tell you about like, wow, actually, I'm actually wearing this.
The best thing, right, this is it.
I don't wear jewelry, but I got to have that.
They didn't know they wanted it, but they got to have it.
So pretty much saying Austin here speaks to everyone.
Your shit don't speak to you, are you even a real skater?
I mean, I don't know, man.
These are the things that, you know, are very close to us, you know, everyone grew up skating.
These things are looking at these places and even if not, this is the history.
First rider, Davos.
How do you get Chico, which is a very interesting Chico Brenna is amazing.
You know, chopper skateboarder.
Wow, let's talk about Chico to get on.
Long time friend, no one probably since like 91 or 90 or 89.
What about Tiago?
Tiago. Wow, that guy.
I mean, I had, you know, I had heard the name.
I had seen him some footage and, you know, there's a couple of clips that just were mind blowing.
I didn't understand exactly.
One of my favorite people, Brayden.
I know that too for years, you know, going through the city.
And when I met him, you know, I was probably like stuck at some, you know, crappy job.
But, you know, we would party all the time.
He'd come through the city.
He would shred it up.
You know, we've been friends for a really long time.
So Brayden, you know, that was, that was nothing.
EMB, Marcus McBride.
McBrees.
Oh boy.
McBrees, right?
I grew up with McBrees.
I grew up with Marcus.
That was nothing but a phone call.
You know, Marcus is a partner.
So how did you get Stevie Williams involved?
I mean, I've been working on it for a minute.
And actually kind of like came up with the idea, like, you know, right around the transition
between, you know, DGK and coming back to New York.
That's when I started coming up with the idea.
I worked on it for a year.
And it was like, oh, I got Dave on the team.
And he was like, Dave.
He was like, no disrespect, but the fuck was up with me?
Oh, shit.
I'm looking at the phone like, damn.
You want to be on the team?
Like, yo, man, you want to be on the team?
Dude, it's all good.
You're on the team.
He's like, yeah, I want to be on the team, but I'm talking about more than that.
What else are we going to do?
What else do you want to do?
I mean, because, you know, I'm just starting out.
So, you know, I'm kind of just looking for places to go and people to help.
Christian Hessoi.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
You know, nothing needs to be said about that.
The last person on the roster right now that made a commercial for it was Dwayne.
What is that about?
Ah, Dwayne, that's, he was like the kid on DGK.
Oh, best kid ever.
Besides, um, only skateboarders.
You see, you have, um, RBU Mali as a filmer.
Filmed some of my best footage ever.
Yeah.
The ATL Twins.
Always down.
Took care of me in Atlanta.
Yeah.
You know, Brandon Bebo's being the jock skateboarder was so awesome.
I love it.
That's day one.
Dune from New York City, New Jersey.
The old world alum.
Amazing.
Go way back.
Carlos.
Carlos.
That's another Elias.
I met him at Elias Park.
I just saw him always destroy contest.
He's one of those, like, destroyer dudes.
I saw the new piece for Eric Ellington.
That's going to come out very soon.
Oh, yeah.
Let's talk about Chaz.
Chaz.
Uh, uh, Harold used to always talk about him.
That's how I felt.
Harold used to always talk about him.
He's just amazing.
You don't even know.
You can't even know.
Yellow Wolf.
Wolf.
I met him at the playground at Stevie's skate park,
DGK skate park in Atlanta.
Our good friend John Newport, who also works for the company,
works for Sloan American.
He brought him by.
He put his board down.
Sarah Skater, I was impressed within five minutes.
And, you know, that's pretty hard.
I'm not really impressed like that.
And, you know, check the playground shit.
Like, look it up on YouTube.
He kills it.
He does like a fucking train flip off the wedge ramp over the thing.
I don't even know if I could have did that that day.
I was like, dude, that's sick.
I would like to do that right now.
Yellow Wolf was probably like the third rider, maybe.
He's a third member, team member in the team.
Yeah.
He was like an original supporter.
If you're too young, you know, a 12 year old is not stated in this shit.
