Words really can't explain how big of an honor it is to be Will's Best Man.
Part of the reason why is I just found out that I was Best Man yesterday.
When I hold my hand You are the space in my bed You are the silence in between What I thought, what I said You are the nighttime fear You are the warning when it's clear When it's over, you're the start You're my hate, you're my heart
No line, no line, you're bright blue eyes I never knew that I could be so violent You're a revelation in the light of day You can't choose what stays and what fades away And I do anything to make you stay
No line, no line, you're bright blue eyes I never knew that I could be so violent
Through the crowd eyes, crying out of ignorance There were thousands of defenses out there Disappearing in the play inside Heaven help me, I need to make it right
You are the revelation, you want to get right That's the constant
You can't choose what stays and what fades away And I do anything to make you stay
No line, no line, oh no Tell me what you want me to say
Would you leave me if I told you what I'd done? And would you leave me if I told you what I'd become? Because it's so easy to say it's too cruel But it's so hard, my love
I've always wanted to be my sister, you know, I'm the little girl always looking up to my sister, so I'm so proud of you, Laura, so proud of you
But to kind of reflect over their relationship, I was there the first night he kissed her
And it was so cute because we kind of left her downtown St. Augustine and she came home that night and I'm like, did he kiss you?
And she said, yes, we started literally jumping up and down, up and down in the hotel room at like 3 a.m.
So I knew that this guy was the one for her
You are the revelation, you want to get right That's the conversation, I just can't have tonight
You are the revelation, the kind of revelation Tell me what you want me to say
