I went in 2001 at my cousin's wedding.
He was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid, and he walked with me and my best friend
at the wedding.
Me and the groomsman, we were a little nervous because we were like, okay, who are we going
to walk with?
Are they going to be pretty?
Are we going to be ugly?
And then they came up.
We seen the bridesmaids.
I saw her and she was like a breath of fresh air.
For some reason he caught my interest.
I think it was his smile, the way that he was kind of goofy.
I kind of caught my attention.
Usually opposites attract.
Regardless that I'm goofy and I'm outgoing and kind of silly.
I was looking for a more serious, calm, respectable young woman.
That's what I found.
I proposed to her in church in front of everybody.
She said, because I'm a Leo and I like to show off.
I almost had a heart attack just sitting there with all those people.
I was saying hello to my friends in the crowd.
My sisters were yelling out my name.
My friends were yelling out my name.
Basically exactly how I planned it out.
That's not exactly how I played.
That's not exactly how I played.
That's not exactly how I played.
I'm looking forward to our life together.
Looking forward to being Mrs. Hippolyte.
I know it's never going to be a dull day with you.
It's definitely going to be an adventure.
We're going to have fun together and who knows what life will bring us.
You've changed my life big time.
When you met me, I basically had nothing.
When you came, all the pieces came together.
I'll say you're my shero.
This is like being in a spotlight, isn't it?
I wonder how you did.
Well, that's all she wrote, folks.
Thank you.
