Since Good News Productions International was founded by my parents some 35 years ago,
GNPI has always stretched to go beyond ourselves.
GNPI has been on the cutting edge of technology, providing culturally relevant material to reach the lost with the message of Christ.
Today, GNPI works with national leaders through its 10 regional centers and a new initiative called Project Nomad,
which is emerging that will be built on the foundation of these regional centers.
A Nomad team works with an existing mission network, so the costs of production, staffing and office space is drastically reduced,
and that's why a team is connected with a church network.
And what is a Nomad team? It's two preachers and a camera guy, and Proto Sivakuli is the leader of our very first Nomad team.
One of the chiefs of the area told us, thank you for coming because my people were in darkness.
Because this area is known for war.
No one has ever dared to come and speak to my people.
But you have come, and I've seen my people have come to listen.
You have brought the message of hope.
I see there is a new beginning in this area.
As we look to the future, it's the regional centers and the Nomad teams that will enable us to reach more and more people.
And that's why Good News Productions International has established the Beyond Ourselves campaign.
The first part of the campaign is the global outreach portion,
and that's where we'll upgrade those regional centers and we'll establish five new Nomad teams to seize the opportunities reaching in the world today.
So it's a proven strategy, and I think it really takes advantage of the advances in technology.
It is a cost efficient and an effective way of getting the gospel to as many people as possible
in a way that they can hear, a way that they can understand in their own heart language.
There are many open doors of opportunity for this unique and strategic ministry.
At times there are doors that open and close rather quickly.
Immediate action must be taken before that need goes unmet.
An important aspect of the Beyond Ourselves program is the open door fund that will provide beyond the normal budget for such opportunities.
Readily available funds will make it possible to move strategically to obtain maximum results.
A third aspect of Beyond Ourselves is the restructuring of the Joplin office.
The Joplin restructure is to upgrade equipment and offices.
With changes in technology, video production equipment has become smaller, requiring less space.
This extra space will be renovated and optimized as other ministries are housed on the GNPI campus,
and a multi-mission ministry setting is developed.
The Beyond Ourselves campaign can be summarized by one of our Nomad partners, Elly Ropp.
That has given a very big impact to people, and very many people have come to the Lord.
We have received tremendous telephone calls. People have been changing their lives.
The Lord has really touched so many people.
GNPI has always been and always will be about going beyond ourselves,
as God allows us to discover new aspects of His creation and use that technology in spreading the gospel around the world.
I ask you to partner with Good News Productions International in this campaign
as collectively, together, we accomplish a great work for His Kingdom.
