When Matt White first asked me to be part of the next wave of autonomous vehicles, my
answer was a resounding yes. I told him, I said, Matt, we're going to make a driving
experience more personal, not less. The term driverless vehicle is a misnomer. The driver
is still there. He's just been transformed into a person, a person with more time. By
combining Matt's freeness of, say, riding the train with the intimacy of driving your
own car, we can now completely focus on crafting your travel experience. That's why we've
included many features you won't find standard in a traditional car. Things like reindeer
fur interior, hot cocoa mug holder, Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer GPS, mistletoe air refreshness,
on-site North Star, a fireplace in the car, a mug that says best autonomous driver. It's
the journey, not the destination. I've always held that proverb close to my heart. You know,
it's been a way to inform my vision of enhancing our journey. Not just to and from work, you
see, but through this thing called life. So when Matt told me, the wheels, get rid of
them. This is for Santa. You can imagine my shock. Oh, stunned. In my head, I had envisioned
an autonomous vehicle with four wheels, not an autonomous vehicle flying, slaying. So
I said, Matt, I'm a grown-up. I left Santa behind a long time ago. And he said to me,
and I'll never forget this. He said, we all did. That's what we've got to do this.
And that's the day I became a believer. We don't all necessarily believe in Santa here
at Y-64 Motors, but we believe that he believes in us. And that belief, that's what keeps
us going.
