Hi everybody and welcome. Today I'm at Starbucks in Malibu. It's a very, very great location
and it's very close to the beach, which is where I'll be heading later. So today I wanted
to tell you about an awesome experience that I had a few days ago. And it's when I got
to go see Eddie Izzard live on stage at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. I've always wanted
to see Eddie live. I've seen him on DVDs many, many times. I discovered Eddie back in college.
I was a huge fan at the time and I realized that all my friends were fans too and they
had all the DVDs. So I was able to watch all of the DVDs and just be fascinated by his
comedy. He's a great, great comedian. Definitely I think all comedians should watch him and
look up to him no matter what. If you have a great sense of humor and you like watching
action trends, best sights on stage, then Eddie Izzard is the guy for you. Before the
show, my friend and I went right across straight from the Kodak to this awesome place and it's
a Disney soda fountain restaurant. And when you order their special Sunday, you get this
exclusive pin. It is a Winnie the Pooh and it says ice cream and they only make like
a hundred of them and they have different ones all the time, so it's a big deal. We
had dinner there, we ate, it was great, awesome, and we walked right across the street to the
Kodak where we took our seat and when Eddie came out on stage, the whole audience applauded,
applauded, applauded, but I think a lot of them were very taken back. Eddie was not dressed
in his normal action transvestite outfit of long dress slash makeup. He was in blue jeans
and a blazer and no makeup. We were all like, wow, okay, but you know, it was still an awesome
awesome show. The comedy was hilarious. The audience absolutely loved the whole section
where he talked about the creation of Earth and all the inhabitants since the beginning
of time and if you know Eddie, you know, he goes on these little tangents of little stories
that have absolutely nothing to do with anything, but somehow he always seems to tie it back
to the main point and it was, it was, it was great. As always, my friends laughed and laughed
the entire time. I don't think there was one dead moment and I think all the audience
would agree with me. It was an amazing, amazing show and I'm just so excited that I had the
opportunity to finally see Eddie and his wife, Kodak. So let me put a few pictures here.
So I'm sure that as soon as his DVD comes out for this last show series that he did,
I will be purchasing it as soon as it comes out and if you can catch a few of his shows
that are left while he's touring, I would definitely suggest hopping on Ticketmaster.com
and see if there's any shows in your area to see Eddie as we're live and I would like
to thank you for joining me again and I hope that you have a fabulous day.
