I have a relationship with a family where women are not respected and they are not given any importance.
I felt that the way women are treated, the reason for that was that they don't earn anything.
It depends on their family, their husband, their father. That's why they are not equal.
So, looking at those situations, I felt that I should do something.
The women who are respected, they can earn, they can keep their rights, they can keep their rights to speak.
At that time, we did not establish this Nari Uthan Sansthan in 1945.
Nari Uthan Sansthan is a grassroots level organization working in Jaipur, Alwar and secret districts currently.
When it was started, it was a very, very small organization.
Basically, an organization run by one person, her vision, her commitment to the society.
That was the only thing behind them.
And it has now become an organization with an eye-standing and a well reputation.
Our first areas are women empowerment, education, healthcare, sanitation, environmental conservation and disability.
The most happy thing is that the women who get a job, when we get a job, we won't be able to help anyone.
So, we can do anything for our household expenses or anything.
Listening to this, I felt very happy.
In order to empower women financially, we organize women into self-help groups and impart them training on various vocational art and craft, edible items.
And a lot of other things which can sell in the market and they can contribute to their household incomes by their owners.
We thought, why don't we do this for our household expenses and it won't be of much value.
But it will look beautiful and our culture will be seen.
So, in doing this, we started working on doll making and making dolls.
This project was brought to me by Prasthav.
We will work on doll making.
It was a subject related to Rajasthan's traditional art and culture.
I felt that there will be a demand for it in the market.
Rajasthani dolls are the most popular dolls in India.
I felt that there will be a demand for them in the market.
Rajasthani dolls have been running for almost two years.
We first trained them in Napaad.
We trained 25 ladies in that.
25 ladies are working at this house.
They have come here and worked.
The best part of the dolls are that they are depicting the typical rural scenario in Rajasthan.
The product which they had made had a great value in the market.
Not only in the domestic market but also in the export market.
They started getting big orders.
After that, they did not turn back to this place.
Music
Many women started to expect from us.
Many women would come to us and tell us to give us work.
We did not have any intention to make dolls.
We wanted to start with milk.
There was no need for any special training.
Diaring is a part of our culture.
If you see any of the states, Rajasthan or any neighboring states,
Diaring becomes a part of their life.
Music
Working on the dairy project where we only worked with women.
The idea was to empower women.
And now you have these women who are earning 10-15 thousand rupees a month.
They are buying fridges for their homes.
They are thinking of educating their children.
Music
This is our chilling plant.
We have the milk from the village.
We do the chilling and export it to other dairy farms.
Now the milk has come.
We process the chilling and then we sell the milk.
The culture has done a great job.
Every village has done dairy production.
There are about 150-200 families working on the dairy project.
They are also getting employment.
I think that more than 1000 women are working on the dairy project.
And there are millions of women working on the dairy project.
Music
There is no land here.
There is no farm here.
There is no land here.
It is 8 in the morning.
It is 6 in the evening.
They are preparing containers for the…
Peas, Pots and Take- Responses.
We sell our milk, sorghum, donghaider and Ghee.
We eaten soil and milk, pepper.
Now we are coming to see whether there is milk anymore.
We try not to buy all the tea.
From now on, nothing more than oil village is here today.
I often meet and sit with women.
Whenever I go to the village, I see that women are not very honest about their health.
The problem of women, the diseases of women, is that they cannot share with anyone.
And that means that they can't share with anyone for about 6 months.
And seeing the condition of the house and how they should go, who should they tell?
The village has the most entry. The PSC is not even open everywhere.
The compound is only in the most entry.
Now you can understand that in the big villages where their population is 4,000,
there are villages with a population of 4,000.
When the doctors are not there, if they are treated, they have to go up to 20-30 kms.
There was a program called Hans Swasth Karna Pariyazana at the Hans Foundation.
We asked them to come for our women.
And they helped us.
In the 18 villages, we are conducting two ambulances.
In that, we have a lady doctor, our staff.
And she can go to the village and get a mobile ambulance in which she can get her treatment.
She can tell us about all her problems.
Under Hans Karna Swasth Karna Pariyazana, we have benefited about 9000 people.
And we are going to go to many more villages.
Many people request us to initiate Hans Karna Swasth Karna Pariyazana.
So that more people can get treatment.
First, we had an allergy.
Then I saw everything in my house.
And then I came.
And I gave her the medicine.
It was my benefit.
When I came here again, I checked the house.
And I had pain in my stomach.
Then I gave her the medicine.
It was my benefit.
The elderly are here.
The villagers are also here.
The children are also here.
Now we are going to Niranpur.
We have to pay 20 rupees.
Then we have to pay 100-200 rupees.
We are poor people.
We have to take the medicine again.
Then we have to take the medicine again.
There are many types of problems in the village.
Women are facing it.
For example, it is related to health.
It is not in the village.
It is such a small place for them to live.
They can't even think.
When they have to go to the mountains,
they die of snake bite in the summers.
In this way, we have created this village for women.
There is a village called Lantur in our area.
When I went to that village for the first time,
someone told me that water is brought from a distance of 3-4 km.
They had to keep engaged their children and especially women
just in order to fetch water from the nearest sources of water
which were in other villages.
The children were unable to go to school.
Because of not being clean properly,
their diseases were spreading.
In Lantur, we have built a well in every house.
The health and sanitation standard of the whole village has improved.
The children of that village go to school
and the women of that village are happy today.
Our program is going on in Green Technology.
Our 35 women are working on it.
In order to make the bricks which we make,
we don't use fire.
It is not harming nature in any ways.
We use the dust or the wastage from power plants
like fly ash, from stone crushers like stone dust.
It reduced the cost by 50% of the current market prices.
We have also given women work.
Our technology work is also being done to make women's homes.
Our work is also being done for environmental protection.
It is very successful.
We are working on it.
We are working on it.
The women's education has been done.
The children who are going to school
are unable to see if they are studying or not.
Because they are not educated.
Sometimes they say that their children are not educated
and they are taught to reach their mother.
When they ask their mother, they say that they are not educated.
But when I asked them if they can study,
they were very happy.
They asked if they can really study?
They said yes.
They are educated.
They are like a child.
They are like a child.
They are educated.
They feel proud that they are educated.
They feel that they are not educated.
This is what the women have done.
This Kathib is not in touch.
This is what Ka어요 has done.
This is what it is.
This is what the women have done.
This means that their Fin santé continues her studies.
We have been worthy to be supported by such people
who have no family or family.
These women are still not being able to serve their parents
but
Our goal was to help such people who don't have a home, who don't have a family.
The people who are not able to serve their parents,
they have started a good job by opening a door to respect elders.
The one who needs love, the one who needs love can come here.
There are people out there who don't live the same life as we do,
and they also deserve good health care, they deserve to send their kids to school,
they deserve to have their rights as anybody else living in a big city.
It is said that when you empower a woman, it is empowering the entire family,
and not only the entire family, the entire society gets empowered.
Women empowerment, in its true sense, comes when women are educated and they are financially independent.
18 years ago, 20 of us chandmahilauni milkar boya,
it has become such a huge tree today,
and I believe that if a man tries with his heart,
there is no shortcut to success,
and for success you have to try, you have to try.
Thank you.
you
