So, we are gathered here today for the most important day in the village, for the families.
We are trying to translate it.
I am a teacher and a member of the family of Uraniotokso
and for us it has a special value.
Our presence and generosity in the community
within a park, with the families, with the children,
with the other families that come,
the message of the community, that is, we are here too
and we live the normal lives, as the rest of the world has the normal needs.
We exist like everyone else,
which is something that the community doesn't know until now.
It wants to do what it doesn't know.
As a teacher, I think it is the most powerful example
to talk about showing the children this place
to the children that will come to play in the park
or if the government can support the majority
in the field, the position of the political party and the people.
Because this is how it changes the capabilities and the priorities
and the priorities of the children that are growing now.
It will be the most powerful message.
A child that is still in the community
to think that I may have different feelings
from my teachers, but I have the same abilities.
I can be a person who lives my life,
my romantic love, to make my family.
I will not be the perfect example of the environment
as it usually appears.
This is me.
Me, too.
What do you do?
I have been in the middle of the whole thing for two days.
I don't understand the current situation.
What does the community mean?
It is one of the first international institutions.
In Greece, we organize it for the third continuous break
and we want to make it different in the community.
A child may have a father and a mother,
a different color, a different age,
but it may have two fathers and two mothers.
This is the basic point that we want to emphasize,
the difference.
And as you can see behind the camera,
there are many different families,
from single-parent families to non-parent families,
and we often have a very loving and harmonious day.
I'm going to have a trip, so I won't be able to go outside.
Come on, come on, come on, let's go to the family.
The family, what are you afraid of?
My name is Yulia Straus.
I came from, originally from Russia,
and I live in Berlin.
And I'm involved with different LGBT organizations
and in movements that are fighting for equality
in Russia, in Ukraine, and in Germany.
But I'm friends with feminist Tiko Kentro in Athens,
since the time when Pussy Riot were in prison,
because there we were organizing the readings,
the worldwide readings.
Now I came here to academia Platonus
to express my solidarity with the rainbow families.
I think it's a very strong, strong gesture
that is very supportive and empowering
for all the rainbow families of the world
that this festival is happening in academia Platonus,
because the Plato's idea of the militarized state
has started here.
The binary oppositions have started here.
Zero and one, devil and God, man and woman,
this polemization has come from here.
That's why it's good to start,
to make some fundamental correction of our society
exactly from the point from where it began to go wrong.
Thank you very much for your time.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Great.
Thank you.
Take care.
So long.
See you.
Thank you.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
