Hello and welcome to Lydden Hill in beautiful sunny Kent for round four of the 2015 World
Rallycross Championship. Now behind me is the Spotters Tower, the Ion Spotters Tower, which
is the best way for teams and the commentators to keep an eye on the action. But today we're
going to have a look at how the onboard cameras give you a unique view of this exciting motor
car. Hi, I'm Max Coates and I'm Ion's man on the ground here at World Rx. Gonna be fitting
some Ion action cameras to pair a Solberg's car today, so let's see how we get on. One
of my favourite features is the fact that it's so easy to use, so all we have to do to turn
it on is just slide that button forwards on top and the camera vibrates, so you can still
do that in harsh conditions, which we typically have here at Rallycross when it's wet, cold.
Just fitting the rollbar mount, there's all sorts of different bars inside the car to
be able to mount to, so you can get most shots from wherever you want. This one here is the
office shot, so you kind of get Peter in action with his seat and his steering wheel and the
gear stick, and then we've also got the onboard shot just back here. Hello everybody, I'm
Peter Solberg and as you can see, I'm holding an Ion camera in my hand. Yes, I had a relationship
with them for many years now, I had them on my rally car, I have them now on my rally
cross car, and we get perfect and nice angles when I'm driving flat out, so for you to see
it on social media.
Hello everybody, I'm Peter Solberg and as you can see here, I'm holding an Ion camera
in my hand, and as you can see here, I'm holding an Ion camera in my hand, and as you can see
here. Congratulations, we can see how much it means to Peter, and we can see how much
it means to you to win here at Liebendelle. Yeah, I know, it's incredible, you know.
You
