I've been searching for the song's artist for quite a while now, just from registering
to various forums, uploading the song again and showing to friends, that sort of thing.

The first time I heard the track, it was Secret Santa in our class in college, and I was, and Connors Feldman got me, okay, how do I even phrase that?
So, it was Chris, is it Chris Kindle or Chris Kindle?
Chris Kindle.
Is it Kindle?
I'll say Secret Santa over there.
So, it was Secret Santa in our class in college, and my friend Connor in the class got me for Secret Santa, and he didn't show up on the night, I don't think he can make it or something like that.
And then the following week, he came into college with a Gran Turismo PS1 box with a mixed CD in it.
But the mixed tape was just about 8 tracks with electronic music that he drew on, and the first track I thought was amazing and really stood out.
And I was listening to it for a good few weeks, a few months, and seeing as it was a mixed tape CD, it didn't have the names on the CD.
So, I went to Feldman and I was just asking him, like, you know, who's the artist by this track?
Well, I gave it to him on a mixed CD at Christmas about two years after getting it, and that's when I first found out that it actually wasn't the song I had titled it as.
He had it listed as Boards of Canada Sherbert Head.
So, we went on YouTube, checked up Boards of Canada Sherbert Head, and it was a completely different song.
So, I decided to upload it to a website and post it around some music forums, and I think it must have gone through about five or four music forums,
posting up on people listening to it and saying they had nothing.
No one knew who it was by.
They kept complimenting, saying it was a great track, but they didn't know it was by...
Yeah, I just liked it.
You know, find out maybe if he has any more music and just tell him it's a great track.
So, have you had any luck finding the song?
No luck so far, I haven't.
I've been through the forums asking people, but still, I have no luck in finding the name to link to the song.
Does it ever bother you that you don't know?
Not particularly, but I guess it's just kind of a chip on the shoulder kind of thing, it's just there.
Not only would I kind of remember, but it's not the biggest problem.
I mean, I could definitely continue without knowing.
It's a great camera. Of course, real bright.
You fucking love that camera. You should buy one.
And the money?
Once you make these documentaries, you'll get rich, mate. Fucking film-worth, right here.
Give me some money.
Check it out.
This is nice, mate.
There you are.
You're filming me, mate. If you come back and haunt me, this will...
You never manipulated anyone in film form.
What?
You never manipulated anyone in film form.
What are you saying?
I'm just saying, I'm just saying. That dealings with Niall recently was a bit...
It was rough and off, like...
Poor Liall, like, you were filming this and that, haunt on it.
Were you talking to Niall?
I wasn't talking to him, but I was there when you were doing that for the better.
When we were filming him the last day, I was fucking...
I was doing sound. It was a... It was a little bit awkward to say the least.
Why can't you use economy more so as the focus?
Have you made any progress?
Find the song? This last five?
I haven't any progress, no. And...
He's still out there.
How do you feel?
But I think it's to do with that.
He feels that you're undermining his integrity as a person,
because I don't think he likes it if you're being manipulated.
And to a sense, I'd agree with him.
The idea that you're kind of leading more with these questions.
If you're frustrated, you can't find the track.
Not particularly.
It's because he's in film college, I think.
That if he was just a man on the street, he wouldn't...
He wouldn't have such distrust over the media.
There's always that case.
But this could be this one big hit.
And to listen to any of the other stuff, which may or may not be good, good...
Change your view of it.
But then again, you could strengthen the songs.
Alright, this is bull!
Even the way I'm talking, you know me how I talk.
Yes, I can't help that one.
I can't really say anything genuine, because it just doesn't...
I just can't really, I don't know.
It's like when the camera's pointing and recording.
You're obviously going to be using this.
No, I'm not going to be using this, mate.
Okay, that much.
Very good.
I like it.
I'm actually going to call this person there.
Should I do that?
What person?
It's her name.
And it was in there that I found out about it.
That I found the music.
I heard that the music was given to me more.
Do it.
I need my phone.
Well, I was in fourth year.
At the time I was about 16.
I was in a work placement in a place called Intermission Studios.
And there was a guy there called Dara.
And he's the cycle to work every day.
He, when I left the place, gave me a CD with loads of tracks on it,
as well as software and stuff.
But a lot of it was untitled.
So when I went to it, I obviously titled it incorrectly.
And that is probably where the mystery came from.
Let's go again.
Hello on you.
This is Connish Spelman.
Pretty good, how are you?
I'm just going to throw a quick question at you.
Dara did a lot of his own composing.
So he might own the piece himself.
Oh.
He did a lot of mixing here.
He's a DJ as well, so he does a lot of mixing of audio tracks and things.
It would be great if we could get a number for him.
Could it be this, Smith?
Oh man, this guy's a hunk.
Okay, okay.
I hear this one.
We're never going to find them on Facebook.
How are you getting on?
I'm just doing something.
Can we do a bit of an interview?
Yeah, I can do it.
So we possibly found the artist who made the track?
Yeah.
Yeah?
Really?
They had a little laugh.
So he was in front of us and Connor all alone.
Yeah.
Right.
Did you get in touch with the guy?
Well, I talked to him on the phone.
He said he'd get back to me, email me or whatever.
That just never happened, so no, I guess, no interview.
For them, it's this myth that anybody can be a creator of good media.
For them to believe in the idea that, because for them, it could be them.
It could be them who's a great creator of art.
So for them to find out, it completely destroys the magic of the idea that anybody can be
a great artist, and also that art isn't necessarily something that you'd be bragging about.
So he's in that by making a stuck-in entry that this kind of special song for now
I've kind of killed it for him?
I'd say more than killed it, yeah.
I'd say that you can never listen to the song yet, not really.
All right, now, how are you?
Basically, we have gone in touch with the guy, but he declined to be interviewed.
So, how do you feel about that?
I'll survive, I guess, yeah.
Are you disappointed?
Not too pushed, like, yeah.
I'm sure he's a busy man.
How would you feel about, if I were just to wrap up this by filming you listening to the track again
and then to get your thoughts on it after that?
And if maybe, you know, just maybe listen to the song one more time?
Do you want to listen to the song again?
Not really.
Are you sure?
You don't want to?
I don't know.
Okay.
Oh yeah, he's going to hate it, like, he's going to hate it.
He's going to hate everybody involved in life.
Yeah.
