I studied film in Austin, Texas at University of Texas.
I got my master's in creative writing and moved to Columbia, South Carolina, where I met Tyler.
And I think we're both drawn towards film. He's a videographer. I have background in screenwriting.
Oh my gosh, I've been acting since...when did we film this?
August of 2016. It was an incredible experience.
Yeah, Tyler gave me an opportunity to do this. He's been a good friend for a couple years.
And really cool, super excited for all the stuff he's doing and super excited to be a part of it.
It was a lot of fun. I mean, I think very highly of the guy.
And he showed his creative genius in this film. And I was just so happy that I was a part of it.
Tyler came to me with a full script and I helped him polish it and bring it down to the timeline.
It's a really fun story and it feels good. It'll make you laugh. The banter the guys have back and forth.
And some of the physical stunts too. Tyler's fully untalented.
Columbia Country Club was nice enough to let us come out there for an afternoon shoot.
I think we got all our shooting out there done in two and a half hours. This guy was a little bright.
Technically, we did this on a budget of $100 contributed by the second act of Film Festival.
I got the drone like two days before. I managed to not crash it. I crashed it two weeks after it landed in the water and needs to be repaired.
Oh, the music. That's one thing I'm really proud of with this project is the quality of soundtrack.
A couple of friends are music producers. One from Norway. His name is Nylis.
The opening scene. I made the ominous music for that.
That was there.
The guys on screen just had so much fun that it came to life.
People clapped.
Yeah. I heard people talking about it after.
If you're watching this and you happen to own a production company or you just need someone to come in and make your movie,
we can totally forget about this whole Mr. Wonderful thing. It's not that important. This is the whole reason.
Okay. Actually, the film is really important to me. We want people to see this film. We need your help to make that happen.
That's why we have these amazing incentives put together.
Is there going to be anything below?
I know that didn't threaten me. I'd actually like to be able to work with these guys again.
I think they're talented.
Mainly what we need is just more opportunities.
They're actually taller than ours.
I remember.
I was thinking the same thing.
Mo always cares a lot about how tall and big he looks.
Dude, he's like 80 degrees out of that.
Yeah, it's cool.
It's like cold this week.
Today was kind of warm.
I know there's stuff I forget to say now that I can just record it later and do voiceover.
He didn't talk very much about the film itself.
Oh, let me do that.
So Mike, he's pretty much your average guy. He goes to work, tries to work hard and falls on a little bit of bad luck.
Just like we all do from time to time.
You see a little frustration from him and just like most males, we try to take our aggression out on something when he hits that ball.
It is just an explosion of joy.
He bought some new clubs and he goes out and was good friends.
I play Stokes.
He is Mikey's best buddy in the film.
He's that buddy we all have that is kind of brash.
Lord Grammy, this serenity.
Serene put his ball in the cup.
If you don't know this guy, you are that guy.
Mulligan.
Mulligans are fit bucks.
Wives probably don't like him.
All your buddies will.
I literally like Crylamp.
But he's a good dude. He's a guy's guy.
He means really well, especially in the film.
He wants to help his buddy out.
I think he accomplishes the job, but in his own kind of unique way.
There's another guy, R.I.P.
He had to work tonight.
Day of.
He's actually supposed to be played by different guys.
Who's that?
Where in the world did he just come from?
And he crushed it.
I mean, had us rolling.
He literally killed it.
Why does he not have shoes on?
Just trying to figure this guy out.
Welcome to the 18th tee.
How'd you poke him?
It's just a great moment.
And I think he really dove into that character.
And knocked it out the park.
Yeah.
It's like this moment in time, like my triceps are ripped up.
There's some really awesome shots.
And it just looks good.
I mean, some of the things that Tyler came up with.
Unreal and totally unexpected.
And I think like blew everyone away.
And the creative world momentum is everything.
The reality is it's the first project on hopefully many more to come.
And we want them to get bigger and better to be able to collaborate on.
You know, films longer than six minutes.
Yeah.
