Music
When a group of people get in a room or on a stage together and they find a groove together
it's magical, it's organic, it's an experience.
Music
It's as much an experience for the musicians as it is for the audience.
It's an experience that's shared in the moment.
We want to preserve the organic experience of music
and we want to do that through the artists that are working hard
making a difference and are committed to the musicians
to playing an instrument and desiring to excel at their craft.
Live music is the one experience that is unparalleled
and when it's good, it's great.
Music
It's an exciting time in the music business.
The same shift that took a big bite out of the major label system
is breeding a whole new generation of musicians
that are able to stay true to their musical roots.
I want to preserve and promote the music experience
and that means musicians.
There's a whole new revolution going on that's been going on
and it's a subculture that is now of significant numbers.
It's the fastest growing segment in music.
The Indies are using the internet and social media
almost exclusively to seek out the music that moves them and inspires them
and feeds their own personal musical taste.
They're making the music they want to make the way they want to.
They're taking it out into the marketplace
and they're finding their audiences
and their audiences are finding that.
They may not sell as many records as the big machine, if you will.
The beautiful thing about this is it's completely organic
the way music ought to be.
They're making the music they want to make
and that makes them passionate about it.
If you're good, the audiences respond
and if you're not, they don't.
They find a fan base, which some of them do,
then it's good for the fans and it's good for the audience.
When I was a kid, we all found our music the same way.
On the radio and at shows.
We found artists whose lyrics and melodies moved us
and we connected with music that defined our generation.
How's it going, Nashville?
It's a new generation.
They are the Indies
and they're making the music they believe in,
the music that moves them.
They're putting it out there
and if audiences respond, they're moving forward.
And if the audiences don't respond, it is what it is.
Every single dime that went into making this record
is in fact my money.
It's not some massive record company
but the profits are mine as well.
So what I think people should go away from thinking is
when you're stealing someone's song off the internet,
you might be stealing a band that's on their own independently
and that's what filter is and you think twice before you do it.
You put your music out there.
The audience is the ultimate witness test
and it's not easy
but you've got to commend these acts that are working hard at it
and doing it.
India Saab is about giving the artists who are already doing the work
a stage to present their personality,
their performance and their material
to a global audience with their best put for it.
India Saab is not another music-based social media platform.
What we're doing is creating original content
for these artists with production values
until now have only been available to major label artists.
India Saab and our new series, The Indie Sessions,
is going to give the hardest working bands in Indie Rock
an opportunity to present their personality,
their performance and their material
to a global audience with the best possible production values.
It's about the music
and we're going to give these bands the opportunity that they deserve.
Let's feel.
Hey!
Oh!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Oh!
Phew!
Yeah!
