Hi everybody, from wherever you are, my name is Philip, this is me reporting live in Mabaneng,
where it's happening, the marketplace on a Sunday.
I'm here, you know, there's lots of beautiful stands here, so you're walking around,
so I decided to, you know, stop on this really good looking stand, you know, this nice leather stuff.
I'm gonna ask a few questions about them, hanging with...
Yo, this is King Yellow.
This is King Yellow.
From Soweto, man.
From Soweto, man.
That's great, that's great.
King Yellow, that's very unique, hey.
I'm just fell, so...
Yeah, man.
So I'm just gonna ask you a few questions about your stand, you know, your brand and stuff like that,
and just answer as honestly as possible, you know, so people can know how to find you
and so that you can also build the relationship, when people can come and buy these things for you guys,
so I'm just gonna ask you how long you've been in the marketplace, you know, how we can find you
and you can tell us just short stories, you know, about your brand and everything, you know,
and how, how they are built, if you guys make them yourselves and stuff like that, so,
you just, you know, let people know.
Yeah, man.
This is King Yellow from Soweto,
Facebook, check me out. You can find me on the Instagram and Facebook. So far, two
weeks here, I've been doing the work so well. It's been a while, man, because I've been
in Kremstown, I've been in Cape Town, I've been in Switzerland, Wishfire, selling my
artwork in Chaka Marine. It's been close to 15 years doing it. This is the concept
of the play, the real Central Lions artist, you know, to be self-employed. Now,
just keep on pushing as artists, because everybody's got a dream and everybody's
got a machine, you know. Now, we are young stars, we are friends, you know. Now, it's
something that you can deliver to the people and to the world, you know.
Okay, so tell us a little bit more about the bags, you know, the jackets and stuff like that, you know.
If you want, you can even say some prices, if you feel like it.
Yeah, man.
So you can just, like, look around, just, like, the ones that are in front of us, like, even the jackets behind and stuff like that.
Yeah, man. Like, in my product, I'm specializing with the hem, you know. Like, most of my clothing with hem,
fabrics, it's from Ethiopia, some of my works, these are bags, school bags, leather works.
Some of my shoes are just doing the cycling works, you know, because underneath is tires, you know.
Oh, nice, nice, nice.
That's very good. And the shirts, the shirts, how much can we get them?
Something like the one you are wearing, because you design works, you know. Anything you want, place in order, we'll make it for you.
Something like this, you can make it, like, $500.
$500, man. In the bags, how much are they?
Like, this one, we sell it for $700.
$700.
And this one, these shirts, like, they were, I sell this one for $300.
Very good.
Nice. It's from Ethiopia too, and the fabric is here.
You see, that's what I like, you know, bringing stuff from Africa and putting them together, you know, and making an amazing brand.
So, if I wanted to find you guys, you know, how would I find you? Are you guys like one brand, or it's just you alone?
Like, we split, there's a lot of events to split ourselves, we go and attend different events, even in one day.
And which means a lot of us, you know, and we can find those five stalls around the city, you know.
Around the city.
So, if I wanted to find you guys, especially social network vibes, do you guys, is it one brand, or I can just find you personally and then I can link to the, to the, to the stall or something.
Yeah, just one stall that is supplying a lot of people around the corner.
Okay, good.
Okay, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, sir. Thank you for having me.
My name is Phillip from Amarte Photo, you know, signing off from Amarte. Thank you, guys.
