Descaling.
Descale the machine when the message, descale, flash on the display.
Press the menu ESC button to enter the menu.
Press one of the scrolling arrows until descale is displayed.
Select by pressing the OK button.
Confirm, is displayed.
Press the OK button to confirm.
Empty drip tray is displayed, alternating with remove filter, if the filter is present.
And, add descaler press OK.
Empty the water tank completely and remove the water softener filter, if present.
Pour the descaler into the tank up to level A, corresponding to a 100 milliliter pack,
marked on the back of the tank.
Then add water, 1 liter, up to level B, and put the water tank back.
Empty the drip tray and grounds container.
Then put them back in the appliance.
Place an empty container with a minimum capacity of 1.5 liters under the hot water spout.
Press the OK button to confirm that you have added the solution.
Descale under way, is displayed.
The descale program starts and the descaler liquid comes out of the water spout.
The descale program automatically performs a series of rinses and pauses
to remove limescale deposits from inside the machine.
Hot water containing acid flows out of the hot water spout.
Avoid contact with splashes of water.
After about 30 minutes, the message, rinsing, insert filter, fill tank, is displayed.
The appliance is now ready for rinsing through with clean water.
Empty the container used to collect the descaler solution.
Remove the water tank. Empty.
Rinse under running water.
Fill with clean water, re-insert the water filter, if previously removed, and replace.
Rinsing, press OK, is displayed.
Replace the container used to collect the descaler solution.
Press the OK button to start rinsing.
Hot water flows out of the spout and the message, rinsing, please wait, is displayed.
When the water tank is completely empty, the message, rinsing complete, press OK, is displayed.
Press the OK button. Fill tank, is displayed.
Fill the tank with fresh water and replace the tank.
When rinsing up, please wait, is displayed, at the end of which the machine will be ready for use.
