WeGA element additions such as workName are mapped to the more generic name element,
but no information needs to be dropped.
"An entry-level customization, focused primarily on the needs of those encoding Western European early modern printed material" (http://www.tei-c.org/Guidelines/Customization/). This customization facilitates processing and publishing in particular, but not all WeGA concepts can be transformed. So be warned, this not a lossless transformation.
An attempt to create a 'simple' plain text version. All variants, readings, etc. are resolved and from the text structure only paragraphs are marked by a newline. NB: This is considered an experimental feature!

TEI simplePrint ist eine TEI-Anpassung speziell für "Einsteiger", die auf die Anforderungen von westeuropäischen, gedruckten Texten der Neuzeit ausgelegt ist. (vgl. http://www.tei-c.org/Guidelines/Customization/). Diese Anpassung erleichtert das Prozessieren und Darstellen der Inhalte, allerdings können nicht alle Konzepte der WeGA verlustfrei in dieses Format überführt werden. Daher an dieser Stelle eine Warnung, dass dies ein verlustbehaftetes Exportformat ist.
Der Versuch, eine einfache plain-text-Variante zur Verfügung zu stellen. Alle Lesarten, Abkürzungen etc. sind aufgelöst und die Textstruktur ist lediglich durch Leerzeilen angedeutet. NB: Dies ist ein experimentelles Format!
