Rock am Ring est un festival de musique à programmation rock se tenant dans l'ouest de l'Allemagne, près du village d'Adenau, dans le massif de l'Eifel. Il a lieu chaque année au début du mois de juin.

Sa particularité est de s'étendre en partie sur la ligne des stands du Nürburgring. Les zones de camping s'étendent autour de cette zone et également le long des bords du circuit lui-même, sur une douzaine de kilomètres.

La première édition a eu lieu en 1985. Ce festival est devenu le plus grand du genre en Allemagne en 1991.

En 1993 apparut un festival parallèle dans la ville de Vienne. L'année suivante suivit le Rock im Riem, en 1995 le Rock im Park à Munich et depuis 1996 Rock im Park à Nuremberg, planifié durant les mêmes jours que le Rock am Ring, et possédant la même programmation.
