Chorotype. Mediterranean.

Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia (Jäch & Skale 2015).

Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Tétouan and Al Hoceima (Bennas et al. 2001). Oriental Plateau: Berkane (Berrahou et al. 2000). Central Plateau: Casablanca (Jäch 1992c). Middle Atlas: Fès (Orchymont 1942; Kocher 1958) and Boulemane (Kocher 1958). High Atlas: Marrakech (Kocher 1958; Jäch 1992c). Anti Atlas: Agadir Ida-Outanane (Orchymont 1935)
