Discussion. A species of F. taimyrica complex (' quadrioculata ' group) which is defined by the combination of reduced ms formula (10 / 100), the presence of clear ocellus and the absence of median macrochaetae on Th.III. Specimens from Buryatia are paler than typical specimens (Mongolia).
Distribution and ecology. In Buryatia, the species occurs in south areas (Selenga Low Plateau, Khamar Daban, Turka). It was described from Mongolia and recorded in Tuva and Chita region (Stebaeva et al. 2001, Dunger & Potapov 2000), it may possibly occur further north as it was found in NE European part of Russia (Babenko 2012) where it is obviously very rare. In Buryatia it inhabits dry larch forests and is common in the Zagansky Range (Fig. 1: loc. 3, 9, 15).
