Remarks. Chydaeus semenowi is a common species, widely distributed over the Himalayan region. It was known from India [Uttarakhand (cited as Uttar Pradesh), Sikkim, West Bengal], Nepal, Bhutan and China (southern Tibet and western Yunnan) (Kataev & Schmidt 2001, 2006; Kataev et al. 2012). The species is recorded here from the Indian state Arunachal Pradesh and from the directly adjacent mountain near Cona in southern Tibet (China) for the first time. Additional westernmost localities from the Indian state Uttarakhand are also given.
