Aprostocetus ceroplastae (Girault)

Material examined. 1 ♀, El-Heiz (Ein Eleza, Bahariya Oasis), 28 °01' 34 "N, 28 ° 38 ' 20 "E, swept on Medicago sativa L., 31.x. 2013 (leg. Usama Abu El-Ghiet).

Previous records from Egypt. Alexandria (Hafez et al. 1987 as Tetrastichus ceroplastae), Mansoura (Daqahleya) ( 31 °01' 94 "N, 31 ° 22 ' 39 "E) (Ragab 1995 as T. ceroplastae), Fayoum (29 ° 18 ' 30 "N, 30 ° 50 ' 34 "E) (Gadallah et al. 2014).

Distribution. Afrotropical, Australian and Palaearctic.

Host records. In Egypt, this species has been reported from Lepidosaphes beckii (Newman) (Hemiptera: Diaspididae), Ceroplastes floridensis Comstock (Hemiptera: Coccidae) (Hafez et al. 1987), and Ceroplastes rusci (Linnaeus) (Hemiptera: Coccidae) (Ragab 1995).
