Ecology and distribution. Species known from depths between 57 (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2003) and 647 m (Soto Àngel & Peña Cantero 2015); present material collected from 234 to 360 m. Antarctic-Kerguélen species (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2003).
