Material examined. 1 female, Laos, Prov. Champassak, Dong Hua Xao NBCA, Nam Phak River, 280 m, 105°11'O, 15°58'N, 28–29.iii 1998 (Csorba G. & O.Merkl leg.), genitalia slide RKY 7164, HNHM, Budapest.
Note. The species has been described on the basis of a single male from North Vietnam (Kononenko, Ronkay 2001), then recorded in South and South West China (Han & Kononenko 2009), the female genitalia were described in the same publication. The new record of S. lichenosella from Laos extends its known distribution.
