Stiphrosoma sabulosum (Haliday, 1837)

Material examined. RUSSIA: Wൾඌඍ Sංൻൾඋංൺ: Krasnoyarsk, 70 km W st. Kryuchkovo (4040 km), garden, yellow pan traps, 15.–24.vii.2009, 1 J f. brach., K. Tomkovich leg. (ZMUM).

Distribution. This wing-polymorphic (largely brachypterous) species is Holarctic in distribution (RඈIJගඹൾκ & Bൺඋൻൾඋ 2005; RඈIJගඹൾκ 2006, 2009), common in northern and temperate Europe, Canada and USA but only once recorded from Asia (West Siberia: Novosibirsk region, Chany Lake), see RඈIJගඹൾκ (2006). The above record is the second from Asia and extends its Palaearctic distribution about 350 km easterly.
