Fig. 83–86
This species is similar to C. trifasciata described from the Fujian Province in China, and is separated by the unicolorous, pale brown forewings and lacking the 3 white fasciae; the apicoventral setal lobes of segment X are obtusely angled mesad, and are not rectangular; the lateral setose warts of segment X are located distally on the segment, not centrally; and segment X is much longer.
Male. Body and wings pale light brown with brown pubescence. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as sum of segments I–IV. Head dorsum light brown with 9 lighter coloured warts. Proepisternum without swollen setal wart. Protarsal claws symmetrical, without setal bundle. Forewing length 5.8 mm, hind wing length 4.2 mm. Hind wing fork I absent.
Male genitalia. Abdominal segment IX fused annularly; sternum slightly longer than tergum (Fig. 83); anterior margins of segment IX convex,, anterior margin nearly straight at mid-height; ventrally strongly incised posterad (Fig. 83); apical lobe on posterolateral margins blunt, obtuse apices present slightly above base of coxopodites; spine row on posterior margins of segment IX complete (Fig. 83). Intersegmental step between segment IX and segment X deep, right-angled. Segment X long, nearly quadrangular in lateral view (Fig. 83), trilobed in dorsal view (Fig. 84). Apex of setaless mesocaudal lobe acutely triangular in dorsal view (Fig. 84); tapering and pointing dorsad in lateral view (Fig. 83). Apicoventral setal lobes strongly produced posterad, curving dorsad, tapering in lateral view. Longitudinal sutures on segment X forming forming continuation of apicoventral setal lobes (Fig. 83) near ventral margin of segment X, reaching posterior margin of segment IX. Lateral interlobular gap on segment X narrow and deep in lateral view (Fig. 83); dorsal interlobular gap small, encircled by apicoventral setal lobes in dorsal view (Fig. 84). Pair of lateral setose areas forming small elevated warts distally on segment X, clearly visible in dorsal and lateral view (Fig. 83, 84); apices not exceeding lateral margins of segment X in dorsal view (Fig. 84), apices almost tangental with bottom of lateral interlobular gaps (Fig. 83). Transverse suture hardly discernible, associated with dorsal hump immediately after mid-length of segment X, clearly visible in lateral view (Fig. 83), dividing segment X into slightly sclerotised basal part and more strongly sclerotised distal part. Coxopodites straight, exceeding apex of segment X (Fig. 83). Harpagones evenly tapering in lateral and ventral view (Fig. 83, 85); slightly curving dorsad (Fig. 83); straight in ventral view (Fig. 85). Phallothecal dorsum slightly convex along its length (Fig. 86); sclerotised endothecal process short, ovoid; phallotremal sclerites broad, orienting vertical in lateral view; vestigial, membranous endothecal lobes visible on less sclerotised apicoventral corner, phallothecal ventrum convex, with slightly sclerotised corners.
