World distribution. Brazil and Chile.
Chilean distribution. The species only has been recorded in Antofagasta and La Araucanía region (Fig. 200).
Altitudinal range. From coastal to inland valley ecosystems (0– 450 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Mimocalla erebus represent a rare species present in Chile. All of its biology and ecology aspects remain unknown in Chile.
Conservation status. EN under B2ab (iii) using AOO = 4 km 2 and 2 localities (or subpopulations).
