Purpose: This data was used to estimate the potential of the circular economy through resource recovery from organic waste streams in the city of Kampala, Uganda, and to demonstrate how the resource recovery potential of urban organic waste streams could be determined in other cities. The dataset contains the data used for the case study and the functions used for the calculations in spreadsheets.
