Diagnosis. Typical appearance of this tribe and very similar to Svercacheta, Modicogryllus or Velarifictorus spp., but a white transverse bar connecting lateral ocelli wider than above species (Fig. 2 I, J; Fig. 3 C, D). Genitalia: epiphallus transverse with posterior epiphallic lobes long and thin, ectoparameron transparent with basal part wide (Fig. 3 H, I, J).
Type species: Mirigryllus nigrus sp. nov.

Etymology. The genus name Miri- is for English word miraculous. It is used to emphasize the amazing discovery of this genus/species in such a high altitude from Zhejiang, where are covered by snow from December to March the next year.
