Acquisition datasets in this archive are PET and MR datasets acquired by placing Volumetric Quality Control (VQC) phantom in GE SIGNA PET/MR Scanner. This phantom is used for PET and MR Image Alignment as it consists of five small Germanium-68 spheres encased in Nickel Chloride (NiCl2) tubes. The NiCl2 tubes are MR visible and Ge-68 spheres are PET visible.
PET/MR simultaneous acquisition was conducted over 10 minutes to collect PET events.

This dataset is placed in folder called "Datasets" which is further divided in 5 sub-folders.

1. LST: This folder contains listmode file in HDF5 file format collected at the end of the scan from the scanner console. This is an uncompressed listmode file.
The listmode file is called LIST0000.BLF.

2. MR: This folder contains MR images extracted from the scanner after acquisition. There are two sub-folders in this folder called:
00001_VQC_MR_Loc: This consists a series of 'MRDC' images acquired using MR localiser sequence.
00003_VQC_MR_Acq: This consists a series of 'MRDC' images that are acquired as a result of Gradient Recalled (GR) scanning sequence which is a part of PET/MR Alignment protocol for VQC phantom. This sequence has a repition time of 4.0480 ms and echo time of 1.3120 ms. These images have 512x512x146 voxels with voxel size of 0.98x0.98x2.00 mm^3.

3. MRRAW: This folder contains the MR p-files. p-files are MR raw files from GE SIGNA PET/MR scanner.

4. PT: This folder contains PET reconstructed image in folder called 00002_PET_Scan_for_VQC_Verification. These are 'PTDC' series. The reconstructions are fully 3D time-of-flight (ToF) iterative reconstructions and images are reconstructed with 28 subsets over 2 full iterations. The output images have 256x256x89 voxels with voxel size 1.95x1.95x2.78 mm^3. PET events were collected over 10 minutes.

5. PTRAW: This folder contains raw PET datasets in 'RPDC' format. These are contained within the folder called 30001_PET_Scan_for_VQC_Verification. RPDC files consist of sinogram raw data file (RDF) along with calibration information including normalisation and well counter.
