Radiolucent lesion in branch and part of right mandibular body, involving condyle and coronoid process in a 9-year-old male patient.
Biopsy result, mandibular ameloblastoma.
Given the extent of the lesion, it was decided to perform right hemimandibulectomy, with placement of a reconstruction prosthesis that includes condyle.
Control radiography two years after surgical procedure, where spontaneous hemimandibular bone regeneration is observed, taking the bone the same form of mandibular ramus, and following the contour of titanium metallic plate.
To date there is no follow-up of the case.
